Roxbury High School Reunion

Every time I go home for the holidays, I hit all the local bars in search of random people that I went to high school with. Kim Wison, Jess Kain and myself hadn't all been in town together for over a year (Kim lives in NC, Jess lives in CA) so we decided to hit the town and start sniffing them out...

Saturday, December 22nd

jessica k, me — We started the hunt at Chi-Chi's Mexican Restaurant (whose bar is apparently, according to our sources, a hot bed of drunken RHS alumni activity). L to R: Jess, Me, Kim and Evani. There wasn't anybody we recognized upon our arrival...but halfway through our first beer...

john mcdonald, pete hope — Pete Hope and John McDonald show up. Hehe. The girls pretended they didn't recognize them (yeah, right...like you could forget these two!) but I immediately went over to say hi (and snap a quick photo to prove that I really had run into them). We thought their arrival was the harbinger of greater things to come...but 3 beers later, nobody else had shown up. It was almost midnight at this point so we decided to head over to The Barn (the new bar in our town where at Thanksgiving I ran into like 40 people that I went to high school with).

Immediately upon entering the bar we ran into the Wilcheck sister (Joslyn & Adrian). We thought we'd hit the RHS jackpot for sure, but The Barn turned out to be...

jessica k — Really fucking lame. What's up suburban New Jersey bar at 1:30am the Sunday before Christmas.

We had given it our best shot and failed. So instead of hunting high school buddies we decided to get drunk and take silly photos. Check out Kim's impression of Sebastian Bach from Skid Row. Nice!

jessica k — We ended up hitting Victoria's Diner (a former high school haunt) where we reminisced about the old days over plates of Disco Fries (for all you non-New Jerseyans, Disco Fries are french fries covered in mozerella cheese and gravy).

Suh-Sukit!

An otherwise dissapointing evening took a serious turn towards fun with a capital "F" when a slap-happy Kim Wilson put my digi-cam up her shirt (while hysterically cackling) and started snapping pics of her boobies.

Thursday, December 27th

kara, russ, tim f — A couple of days later, I went to a house party that turned into another impromptu RHS Reunion! Here's Tim, Kara and Russ!
