The dankest wedge salad....for that breakfast sandwich.Met up with Vin for dinnerMini sliders and tots!We had a lovely dinner together and then drove back late in the evening....and then got my fave pepperoni and pineapple pizza from Gruppo.Saturday deli breakfast. We hit up Cafe Mogador for an excellent Middle Eastern lunch.Wednesday night Meredith came over for a hang and an burrito.Shakshuka and a smoothie for breakfast at Cafe Mogador.Late night solo pizza party date with Lil Frankie's.Started the month off with a proper Odessa breakfast.I forget the name of the place we went to but it was fancy and delicious. Breadbowl of meatballs covered in cheese? Yes, please....and got me a southern fried feast from Bobwhite Counter.Odessa breakfast. Even got a cup of soup. Mmmm...breakfast burrito....and eating a box of mac & cheese out of the pot because why do extra dishes?Late night Italian feast.... a pot luck feast!Ta da!Cynthia invited me to a "hot dish" pot luck dinner so later on I went shopping for the necessary ingredients...I'd never eaten in the restaurant downstairs (since it took over Banjo Jim's) but it ended up being really good!Went to Cafe Mogador for a cheer-me-up breakfast FEAST!Then we got a few slices and headed over to Brooklyn Steel...Late night date with Lil Frankie.Hit up the hotel restaurant for this bomb flank steak with mole sauce....and Jared cat-whispered him into cuddling up.Right after our main courses arrived, this handsome lil cat-bro showed up...Food was excellent!...one of the waiters would come over and take your order. Pretty next-level.Day 2: Excellent fruit and freshly-baked bread breakfastTulum burger!Got an "official" Mexican snack when I landed in Cancun......I ate my overpriced airport breakfast sandwich.Saturday was my last day in NYC before a quick 5-day trip to Tulum I booked last minute! Went to Odessa for some pancakes and bacon.Jane Anne came over for a late night pizza party.Had a killer middle eastern breakfast and smoothie at Cafe Mogador....AND. a brisket to share. ...and some dank BBQ from Georgia's East Side BBQ. We got the spicy Nashville sandwiches....Later that evening I met up with Jane Anne at Gruppo.Late night Korean feasting from Boka....Then we got a Lebanese dinner.Back at home I ordered myself a late night Paquito's feast....On Wednesday afternoon I met up with Meredith for a veggie lunch...Overdid it with a Vietnamese lunch. Empanadas and a Cuban sandwich for dinner.Got a burger AND a cheesesteak from Whitman's for dinner. Mmmmm.Thursday afternoon Halal Guys lunch.Empanada Mama dinner. Mmmmm.Work from home lunch from Bob Counter. Mmmm.Got a banana bread with my coffee from the coffee shop downstairs. Destroyed a late night Indian feast watching some youtube lectures.Brining in the 2018 and celebrating the new year with a giant Thai feast for lunch! <3Let the feasting begin!Made myself a lil brekkie......After working up an appetite, we headed over to the nearby Cheesecake Factory for dinner. Fried Macaroni & Cheese balls. Mmmm.Met up with Grant afterwards to a celebratory meal and a radio show debriefing!Man of Kent takeout dinner is a cabin staple.On Friday night Meredith and Gurj came over! We had dinner at my place...Another night of Man of Kent take-out by lantern-light. Mmmmmm.Headed to Lumberjack's for a coffee and a breakfast sandwich.We picked up a dinner at Man of Kent and feasted back at the cabin.Met up with Grant at Odessa (RIP!) to give him the keys to the cabin so he could go up there for a few days.My dad was discharged from the hospital after a scary two weeks. Nice to have him back home!Lots of sandwiches and books.After a few hours in the morning, Brett and I went out to grab lunch...Jane Anne showing off our collection of groceries.Lovely outdoor dinner!Lining up for chow.Gotta get a burger.Pork Bao deliciousness.Bag of Kettle Corn and a Box o Fudge!...and had some homemade bacon egg and cheese sandwiches!Yesssss. Place makes my favorite breakfast sandwich. Has bacon, sausage, egg, cheese and MAPLE SYRUP DRIZZLE. ...to pick up coffees and breakfast sandwiches.Omfg, Man of Kent rules. The fried Brie with cranberry sauce and a Blue Cheese Wedge Salad for starters. Yassss.Well-catered spread from Virgils.Late night dinner! Mmmm, Georgia's East Side BBQ. I still think about this sandwich almost every week.Sandwich, smoothie, salad lunch.On Saturday afternoon I met up with Cynthia in the West Village and we went to Dojo for a Japanese lunch....for a maple syrup sweetened ice coffee and a breakfast sammy.Place is so yummy.Picked up a late night dinner at Man of Kent.Grabbed lunch at Rippers...Grant brought his own fancy gym diet meal....to hit a big new international food court type of place...Wednesday lunch with Grant at Yucca Cafe.Weird fish salad for the plane meal, but you can't win them all.Fruit, cheese and buttered bread breakfast.Had ourselves a super-cosy Finnish dinner of sausages and bread with cheese and butter. Mmmmmmm....Doug & Anni's apartment for dinner!Later that night I took myself out for a fancy meal by myself back in Helsinki. Truffle risotto. Mmmmm....and received us in his private quarters for a dinner of Tibetan dumplings!...until I found an Italian restaurant that looked tasty.Had dinner on a rooftop restaurant...
