We went to the park across the street and chowed down! Just because it's one-hundred degrees doesn't mean you shouldn't eat piping hot, extra-spicy food!
Later that evening, I met up with Grant for a drink at Tom & Jerry's and we ended up walking over to the West Village afterwards to get a late night...
Indian for dinner! I like to think I'm partially responsible for the continued escalation in the 1st Ave / 6th St "TWINKLE WARS!" There are always barkers on the street trying to steer you into their restaurant and I always explain my choice by saying "I'm going with the one that has THE MOST LIGHTS!"
The highlight of our day was the awesome Indian restaurant we went to for lunch. I spent the rest of the day hiding out in our bungalow reading and watching bad HBO movies on TV. (Hey, they were playing Police Academy 5, which I had never seen! What'd you expect me to do, walk around in the rain?)
Awww, yeah - check tha setup! Awwww, look how cute Grant's mom is all displaying the food with the boys. (And be forewarned, anybody making remarks about Moms in the comments section will be promptly banned. In the words, of the Wise Fatty, "Dat shit ain' coo'!")
