On Thursday night I went to a Korean restaurant in Brooklyn to surprise Vin on his birthday. Here's Aya and Josh with the birthday boy right after we surprised him!
Even Grant was there (suckling Josh's teat, no less)! This might not seem like a big deal to you, but that's because you don't know that Grant HATES going out to sweaty, smoky clubs late at night. In fact, the only time "Party Grant" ever makes an appearance is when there's a specific piece of ass he's trying to woo.
Josh, Grant and myself with Jess and her "two friends." (Dennis Crowley said it best in a recent email: "this may be one of the best photos ever snapped with a digicam.")
Right when we got to Jordan's party we ran into Josh Teixeira who continued his "80's Movie Costume Theme" by dressing up as Gilbert from "Revenge of the Nerds."
This picture is great. Josh demonstrates the proper way to hold a "Book of Poems" so that girls can easily see that you are not only literate, but sensitive too.
Q: What's funnier than eight dudes jumping out of a van and crashing a party? A: Eight dudes crashing a party empty-handed and quickly proceeding to drink all the beer that other people brought. Doh!
So Nina (Grant's girlfriend) invited us to go to her friends' loft party in Brooklyn. After hearing our story about the last time we partied with girls from Sarah Lawrence, all eight of us piled into Brian H's van (yep, he's got a big, white, molester-van) and decided to go check out the party.
Brian's entire new apartment (which is about the same size as the room pictured above). But hey, he does have a waterfront view (and like 200,000 hot girls who live in his fancy new building).
The "wank" factor was getting to be a little much over at Abaya so we crossed the street south and headed over to Baramundi (where the wank-factor was just plain off the charts).
This is Abaya. Even with our friend Matty spinning records there, two cute girls accompanying us, and the promise of free booze inside, I still had to practically drag Josh kicking and screaming through the door.
Every time we take this clown anywhere near NJ he almost gets beat up because he'll inevitably start telling the local scenesters that "Boston's music scene is way better." Jesus..
Here's the point in the night where we were all supposed to go out and get all rowdy...but as you can see, we were still eating. I think I lapsed into a food coma just seconds after I captured this last pic. Sorry.
Holy Sweet Mother of God. There's no caption that can be written that can make this picture any funnier. So I'm just going to shut up and give Josh the score he deserves.
Score: 11 out of 10
Syracuse lemme hear you, boyee. Nina Gonzales, Josh Teixeira and MattyMatt (again?!?). Christ, this kid should just go ahead and get his own website already.
On the way home from Cherry Tavern, a well liquored Josh Teixeira took it upon himself to start attacking people Wolverine-style with a discarded Xmas tree he found lying on the side walk.
Growing despondent after almost 2 hours in the costume store, Josh finally gave up on coming up with a really creative inexpensive costume and instead opted to drop some serious pocket lettuce on the Official Star Wars™ Princess Leia costume. Here we see him striking a "frightened Leia" pose in my apt's front room. (and yes, that is a giant metal slide in the background. Don't ask.)
When there's free booze to be found at a party, you'll also usally find a drunk Josh Tiexiera grabbing men's packages. This kid should just straight up come out of the closet already...
