Later that evening, some of the lake water had gotten into my sinuses and I had a strange allergic reaction and my whole face swelled up.

The great facial hair-growing experiment that began 18 days earlier at the start of my RV Adventure finally came to an end. A new personal record!

These are getting harder and harder to find!

Ordered a used Elph 110HS (one of my faves).

I am now the kind of person who tapes crystals to my shirt. ¯\_(ツ)_/¯ (How else do you expect to clear a blockage in your vishuddha?)

Afterwards, I took her over to Magic Jewelry ( 238 Canal St # 108, New York, NY 10013) to get our aura photos taken!

I got up early Thursday morning, packed up my photo bag...

While they were admiring the ceiling, I became quite taken with a nearby mirror that somehow made my nose look enormous! (Turns out it wasn't the mirror!)
camera
I dropped my main camera so had to dip into a pile of my old cameras...

The new camera I'd purchased didn't fit into my waterproof camera case...or at least it didn't UNTIL I Dremelled the shit out of it. Preparing for our trip jetskiing on the East River with Ty & Mer!
camera
On Wednesday my main camera died so I had to scavenge through a pile of out-of-commission-cameras and try to find my least-damaged camera until I could get a new one.

I purchased a new camera from one of those vending machines at the airport. Here's a photo of my old camera with my new camera. Farewell, trusty friend.
camera
Jenny Joshwich.
camera
...to meet up with this guy to see the night-owl showing of Shutter Island.
camera
Laughing about the fact that we were carrying 3 electronic devices between the 2 of us; all that featured pictures of our stupid little dog. Haha.
camera
...a Flip video camera with a PICTURE of Maddy on the back of it. Hahaha. Amazing!
camera
I like dressing up, but I don't really like all the planning and buying stuff that's involved in dressing up. So more often than not, I'll revert to a last-minute halloween costume with whatever's lying around.
camera
After I finished borrowing Ellen's eyeliner, she touched up her slutty 80s rocker make up!
camera
...and a few days after the party, Leigh sent us a link to...
camera
Fell asleep with my hoodie on. Haha.
camera
When we pulled into the parking lot of the state park, Christa, the Justice of the Peace that we'd hired to officiate our wedding was there to meet us! We asked her to take us to the prettiest place on Lake Tahoe and it was Christa who suggested Hellman-Ehrman Mansion!
camera
Thanks for inviting us, guys! We had an amazing time!
camera
The kid's had a playground reception annex.
camera
Ellen taking a wedding portrait.

Siege and Ellen.

Check out Dave shielding his bride's eyes from the sun for the photos. Awwww.
camera
We loaded up the family party van...
camera
A little before midnight, everyone left whatever little corner of the party they were in and headed to the main room to bring in the New Year together. Me and Cyn.
camera
He was shooting a project with people and animals with albinism.
camera
On Tuesday night I brought our rat Lulu out to Brooklyn to Siege's studio for a shoot.
camera
Riot!
camera
Pics or it didn't happen.
camera
Wendy showing off a zoomed-in pic of what she calls my "crazy eyes." We sang karaoke for about an hour or so and then around 12:30am they came in and told us the restaurant was getting ready to close. We decided to head over to Hanger Bar to see Sarah and Karen. Even though we'd only been drinking for a little while...
camera
Needless to say, the entire table was busy documenting her "show."
camera
We went downstairs to see what was going on down in the basement and found Jackson in the middle of a photo shoot where he was....uh...pretending to be a cheerleader?
camera
Later that night, we made ugly faces in the mirror together...
camera
Hahaha.
camera
I made sure to point out Vadim's "happy spot" to Matt so that he could get some pics of it for the official Karaoke Killed the Cat site. I love how hard everyone is laughing in this photo.
camera
Much to Steve's amusement.
camera
When Siege takes the camera off the tripod...
camera
Hahahaha. I love this photo so much. I love how he's all shrugging like "Who, me?" Happy Birthday, handsome!
camera
After everyone had eaten their King Cake, the party moved to the room with a camera and...
camera
He wandered around on the path with us for like five full minutes while we checked him out and snapped tons of pics.
camera
A little after 4pm, we decided to pack up our beach gear and head back to the subway.
camera
Siege was on the scene taking pics of the ladies.
camera
On Sunday I took the train out to NJ to my Aunt and Uncle's house to spend some time with my family! I have no idea what the occasion was (Grandma's birthday? Memorial Day?), but whatever it was, here's a picture of my dad commemorating the day.
camera
Enough with all that wholesomeness nonsense. Three days later and it was time to attend the DVD release party for Joanna's new porn movie, Joanna's Angels. Grant and I headed over to some club in mid-town to congratulate Joanna (and hopefully see some boobies).
camera
And then, right afterwards, I ran into Merlin taking photos of Joanna Angel.
camera
...Bloody Marys! (Which are responsible for this being the last photo of our trip! I had two of these bad boys and then fell asleep pretty much as soon as I got on the plane!) The End!
camera
...we all chipped in and got her the digital camera she wanted! Happy Birthday, Sar!
camera
...was this fucking awesome water-proof case for my camera so that I can take pictures while scuba diving!
camera
Merlin was there. I surprised him.
camera
He ran all the way to his seat, but then we all sat there for like 10 seconds with frozen smiles on our faces before realizing that the shutter wasn't going to fire. Here's Dad trying working on attempt #2.
camera
GO!
camera
The next day was Thanksgiving! My grandparents and my cousins, the Carricks, came up for family dinner at my parent's house. Here's my trying to set the auto-timer on his camera to take a photo of all of us at the dinner table. Every year he sets the timer, presses the shutter, then races all the way around the table and tries to make it to his seat and smile before the picture is taken. He almost NEVER makes it. (Check out Cousin Chad in the background laughing in anticipation of the race). Ok, ready dad?
camera
And then Ryan made art. (I'll end up getting a few laughs and a couple of high-fives. Ryan will probably sell his photo of this for lots of money. Holy crap, did I make a wrong turn somewhere. Hahaha).
camera
Fatty taking a picture of me taking a picture of him.

camera
Finishing the factory tour and getting ready for the tasting.
camera
My dad cleverly improvised a tripod out of two collapsable TV-food trays.
camera
Here's me with my portable Wolverine drive! (When you're traveling, you can copy over the pictures from your full memory cards to this little bad boy, then erase the cards and keep shooting).
camera
Before anyone can eat, it's a family tradition that my dad needs to take a group photo of the table. There's nothing better than watching him try to figure out the auto-timer on his camera. Every year, he'll think he's activated it and he'll start running around through the kitchen so he can make it back to his seat before a pic's taken - but there are always like three false alarms and he gets progressively angrier as he has to go back and try to get it to work (which makes us all laugh more, which in turn makes him even angrier).
camera
Ready?
camera
...to sit down on a log and watch the sun set.
camera
Until she spotted me and started firing back!
camera
Tinny with her camera. (Uh-oh! Who got a squinty eye and a smooshed nose? Hahah).
camera
...a digital camera! Which upon returning to NYC she used to start her very own exciting (yet short-lived...*sniffle*) photoblog.
camera
camera
Me taking pictures of the wedding photographer taking pictures.
camera
Miye took a picture of me taking a picture of her. And then I took a picture...
camera
Once we hit the beach, it was portrait time!
camera
Squinty Siege. After eating, we also went to a strip club, but they wouldn't let us in with cameras and a few other bars, but then it started pouring rain and we decided to call it a night and head back to NYC.
camera
After hitching a ride to the new hotel (a little closer to town) I bid the band farewell, hopped a cab and headed into town to meet up with Sarah...
