Had a Friday night hang with Matt & Kevin. Meredith and Gurj came over for a Sunday brunch hang! Spent the afternoon practicing with my throwing knives indoors. I'm getting good enough that I can get all 5 knives to stick into a narrow board from about 15 feet away (I was standing in my bedroom to throw them). Meredith came over for dinner... Stayed up late... Meredith came over for a dinner and a Maddy-cuddle. Got my foam roll on... Late afternoon light therapy... Of course, this made my living room a total mess. Speaking of back health - later in the evening Meredith came over and tried out my inversion table. After brunch, a whole crew came over to my place to TRY VR! Matrix Gurj. Around 4pm Gurj came over for a hang and wanted to try VR. Picked up my couch to make more room for VRing in my living room. Spent Sunday evening setting up the virtual reality gaming system my brother shipped to me in December. Installed the two wall-mounted LIDAR motion-tracking cubes in opposite corners of my living room. Got my plants all situated and fired up the volcano for some Sunday afternoon oblivion. Woke up to white windows... Cleaned my apartment real good on Wednesday. On Saturday evening Akiko came over for a reiki session. Sometimes in the winter months, I like to dig out a box of old stuff. Grant and Kevin came over for a late night hang. Ta-da! Got the computer up and running...but still had to install the LIDAR motion tracking cubes on the wall. ...busted out the inversion table! ...met up with Gurj back at my place for a Saturday night weirdo fitness hang. She tried out my weighted Indian Clubs that are good for your shoulders and upper back. And then we upped the weirdness a level and.... Had an early Thai dinner back in NYC. Grant came by on Monday night and checked out my new back-gadget Met up with Grant and his buddy Reggie on Sunday to help them... Let's hear it for my first inversion table! This really helped me stretch out my lower back and tight hips. (Bit of a giant pain in the ass to set up and then take down in a Manhattan apartment tho) On Tuesday afternoon I got a NEW BACK TOY! Matt & Jared joined us later in the evening. We had dinner and then busied ourselves... A day of guitar, napping & foam rolling. On Friday night Meredith and Gurj came over! We had dinner at my place... Got a new paper light-shade for my ceiling light-fixture. Home sweet living room. A peek into my Monday morning foam rolling tools! lol. Luckily my mom is also a foam-rolling maniac so she has a whole library of toys to augment the ones I brought down with me. Tuesday afternoon hangs in my messy living room. On Wednesday night, Susti and Kevin came over for reiki... Hung out with Jane Anne and Jeibi in the evening. Spent the afternoon in my weirdo living room... Then I cleared my living room floor so I could practice some magic square PLANETARY DANCES at 3am as one is wont to do. Hi, a crazy person lives here! Happy May 2017! ...and doing my stretches and foam rolling. Later that evening Kevin came over to swap reiki and then Jane Anne joined us for dinner. Awww, thanks buddies. Great to see you all. On Saturday Meredith came over with her new wire-haired dachshund, Major! Moved my furniture out of the way so I could roll around on the floor like a maniac. Hello there. Hung out with Jane Anne on Friday and she showed off her cute, pink velour undie set! <3 Took care of my plants. On Thursday evening Gurj came over with her sister who was visiting from the UK and we had a pizza party! Vin came over to hang on Monday and I showed him the Small Spells Tarot book I'd recently gotten. Spent some time recording some tunes! Becoming weirder by the DAY cooped up in my winter apartment and left to all my weird devices... I feel like Maddy is really emblematic of the party's vibes. Happy 2016, everyone! Good night! Afterwards, we went back to my apartment to cheeeeeil. Sarah came to say hi on her way to a real party. I showed Jared my latest batch of massage gadgets. This guy is great. Sarah put some tunes on. On Wednesday afternoon, Vin came over for a hang and we laughed about.... Spent the cold, dreary day in the living room... When all my winter hobbies conspire to clutter my apartment! Later that evening Gurj came over for a hang. Maddy loves to snuggle in "leg alley." Cleaned my old mattress so I could give it a new home! State of my living room Sept 2016! I spend more time than most people would believe.... ...just laying on this spot in the center of my living room like a starfish. Unpacked and set up! Love the way it looks and sounds. Filled with water and running! Looks pretty nice and it's LOUD AS HELL. Indoor fountain dreams really do come true! Unboxed! I'd been wanting an indoor fountain for a while to use as a white noise machine to drown out the noise from the bar downstairs when it's loud. What my crazy-person's living room looks like when I wake up in the morning! ...and just lay on the floor... Who likes myofascial trigger point release more than this guy? Excellent clean-up assistance from Jane! Woke up to the remnants of a late-night Odessa feastin Later that evening Kevin, Matt & Jane Anne came over to hang and get weird with reiki. Got a new money tree plant... ...and this fern! Then I did my exercises with my Persian clubs. I set up my new tripod and played around with my new remote trigger. Another test photo playing around with my new wireless camera shutter trigger. Meredith & Gurj came over and we feasted on Organic Grill. On Monday I went over to Grant's for dinner. Life without a dining room! Vin came over early on Thursday and we worked on some stories for his adolescent comic!
