Spent Monday afternoon hanging with these two ding-dongs. Had a Friday night hang with Matt & Kevin. On Thursday morning, I spied this character on his way over to my apt. Meredith and Gurj came over for a Sunday brunch hang! Spent the afternoon practicing with my throwing knives indoors. I'm getting good enough that I can get all 5 knives to stick into a narrow board from about 15 feet away (I was standing in my bedroom to throw them). Meredith came over for dinner... Stayed up late... Look! Chopping stuff! Rainy / sleety Friday. Meredith came over for a dinner and a Maddy-cuddle. Got my foam roll on... Late afternoon light therapy... On Saturday I took everything out of my bedroom so I could clean it really well. Of course, this made my living room a total mess. Speaking of back health - later in the evening Meredith came over and tried out my inversion table. After brunch, a whole crew came over to my place to TRY VR! Maddy caught herself a kitchen mouse for dinner! Sorry lil buddy. Came home and laughed at my vertical couch hallway. Matrix Gurj. Around 4pm Gurj came over for a hang and wanted to try VR. Picked up my couch to make more room for VRing in my living room. Spent Sunday evening setting up the virtual reality gaming system my brother shipped to me in December. Installed the two wall-mounted LIDAR motion-tracking cubes in opposite corners of my living room. Woke up to white windows... Cleaned my apartment real good on Wednesday. Tuesday evening Kevin came over for a hang and a reiki trade. Maddy loves to cuddle with him. Excited for a relaxing night in after being in a strange place. On Saturday evening Akiko came over for a reiki session. Haha. I love this picture of Grant & Maddy. On Monday morning, Grant came over and we recorded a conversation with his Grandma (Nanny Pam) about Bitcoin! Grant and Kevin came over for a late night hang. Ta-da! Got the computer up and running...but still had to install the LIDAR motion tracking cubes on the wall. On Thursday, I got a huge shipment of boxes! ...busted out the inversion table! ...met up with Gurj back at my place for a Saturday night weirdo fitness hang. She tried out my weighted Indian Clubs that are good for your shoulders and upper back. And then we upped the weirdness a level and.... Had an early Thai dinner back in NYC. Grant came by on Monday night and checked out my new back-gadget Let's hear it for my first inversion table! This really helped me stretch out my lower back and tight hips. (Bit of a giant pain in the ass to set up and then take down in a Manhattan apartment tho) Matt & Jared joined us later in the evening. We had dinner and then busied ourselves... On Friday night Meredith and Gurj came over! We had dinner at my place... Hung out with Kev again later in the evening. Maddy always falls asleep on him in the cutest ways. Got a new paper light-shade for my ceiling light-fixture. Kevin came over on Monday for a hang and a much-needed reiki-trade. Home sweet living room. Tuesday afternoon hangs in my messy living room. ...and decided to finish painting the trim in my hallway! On Sunday I dug out my old paint cans from my closet... On Wednesday night, Susti and Kevin came over for reiki... Later that evening Cynthia came over for a hang. On Sunday night Akiko came over for a visit and I gave her some Atoma a reiki treatment. Kevin came over later for a reiki trade, some BBQ and big ol honking bag of thick, white Volcano vapor. Jane Anne was excited to show off her... Stayed up late playing guitar... Later that afternoon I watched a bunch Buckminster Fuller videos about vector equilibrium.... Spent the afternoon in my weirdo living room... Then I cleared my living room floor so I could practice some magic square PLANETARY DANCES at 3am as one is wont to do. Hi, a crazy person lives here! Happy May 2017! Took some pictures of this gnarly water damage hole that appeared in the corner of my living room overnight so that my super could come fix it. (I moved out over three years later and this was never fixed.). Lol. Awww, thanks buddies. Great to see you all. On Saturday Meredith came over with her new wire-haired dachshund, Major! Moved my furniture out of the way so I could roll around on the floor like a maniac. Hello there. Hung out with Jane Anne on Friday and she showed off her cute, pink velour undie set! <3 Took care of my plants. On Thursday evening Gurj came over with her sister who was visiting from the UK and we had a pizza party! ...looks like this. It makes me feel... Woke up to a snow storm on Thursday. When the weather outside... Meredith came over for a hang on Sunday. We were supposed to go to Sarah's birthday party on Saturay, but it was cancelled when her friend Marc Spitz died suddenly. (RIP, Mark! <3) ...the snow started coming down. I feel like Maddy is really emblematic of the party's vibes. Happy 2016, everyone! Good night! Afterwards, we went back to my apartment to cheeeeeil. Sarah came to say hi on her way to a real party. I showed Jared my latest batch of massage gadgets. This guy is great. Sarah put some tunes on. Had a Messy, apartment-cleaning Saturday. Later that evening Gurj came over for a hang. Maddy loves to snuggle in "leg alley." Water my plants... We went back to my place for a srrrrious late night party session with the Volcano. ...and unbox it! Grant hooked me up with a fancy new foam mattress through his writing connections!
