On Sunday afternoon, a bunch of us went over to Matt's for a gang hang. Everyone brought along something snacky Lizzy was there and brought over my copy of her book so she could sign it for me! Thanks, Lizzy! Congrats on the book! <3 ...and Karen for a holiday weekend brunch at Big Daddy's. Awww, thanks buddies. Great to see you all. Later that afternoon Meredith, Gurj and Karen came over for a hang! On Sunday Sarah had us all over to Apt 3A... Phone stories! Lol Kim's face. I'm writing this in January of 2021 in the post-Covid era and it's nice to see all these people just chillen in a room. We love you, Ellen! <3 Make a wish! Met up with this gang to head up to Ellen and Hans'! ...and immediately ran into some familiar faces. On Saturday I met up with Karen and Gurj and we saw Phantogram. Hey! Lemme ask you something. On Saturday night a bunch of us went over to Meredith's new apartment to celebrate... Chin-resting and air-quoting. ...we found other people had begun to wake up! First pictures of the year! Walked up to Karen's to hang out with these guys who had made a plan to watch SPORTS! Saturday night I walked over to the West Village for a friend-party at Ellen & Hans! Once last couch nap before the road. Watched a movie together before bed. Spent the evening together playing card games. The house had an excellent kitchen. Sunday 11am We finally found a restaurant with the properly-sized drinks we were looking for. While out exploring for a place to eat dinner, we discovered a Zoltar machine! Checking out brochures to local attractions for tomorrow's activities. We celebrated our day out with a snack... We loaded up the van and headed over to see Watkins Glen Gorge Trail Saturday was a big activity day. Slumber party! We set up the tables and chairs in the garage out on the driveway and... It's funny you can just rent someone's house to hang out in. The future is different like that. Somehow my camera got wet Coffee break in Clark Summit, PA. Met up with these two in the afternoon, and we hit the town to eat and run some errands. Night babes. ...and she's UP! ...TOE BANG! Karen and Ollie getting pumped for a little... Waiting on the Uber. ...Karen and I headed to K-town to meet up with Ollie for some delicious Korean food and soju drinks. Karen was excited because... ...you know, SPORTS! Got to the hotel around 5. Friday night I went over to Ellen & Hans for a dinner party... ...who could ask for more? ...to see a Mets game with Karen (who, if you don't know, is REALLY into sports). ...Citifield (for the first time in my life)... Later that evening I walked up to Karen's place to hang with her and Jeet. Before going out for an Indian feast, we made up a sit-com theme song for ourselves. I still remember the words and melody: "We used party ten years ago, and now we're all still friends!" Haha. We face-timed with Karen! Haha. Take Two was a bullseye! Waking up! PRUUUUNE! Works for dudes too, apparently! The prune secret is out! PRUUUUUUUUUUUNE! Hahaha. I don't know about cheekbones, but it's definitely a way to make your friend laugh. As the giggles set in, on of the gals told us that the Olsen Twins' secret to always having great-looking cheekbones in their photos is to look at each other and silently say the word "Prune."
