After dinner we picked up his dog Cass and then got some Tasty D-Lite. We sat on the bench on Houston shooting the shit and Cass laying on David's lap caused pretty much every single girl that passed by to stop and talk to us. Boys, take note.
On the walk over towards the Thompkins Park, I went through a Dominican neighborhood on the Lower East Side and ran into the cutest, oldest, shiveriest little beagle mutt wearing a strapped-on sombrero. (I think she might even top the two dogs that I ran into that were wearing sunglasses ).
Fatty snuggles with Jericho. After s'mores, we went to the nearby elementary school yard and played three hours of frisbee with my amazing light up frisbee and then after we'd all sobered up, we packed it in and drove back to NYC super late at night.
Oh, and the best part? The ranch dog loves being around the horses so he tagged along with us for our entire ninety minute ride. Check him out all happily trotting along. So cute.
My Aunt Elaine says it's because Zoe's bleeder (who still grooms her once a month) is pretty much her favorite person in the world and he's black so whenever she see's anyone black, she goes crazy. But we all suspect it's because she's a RACIST DOG!
Then we came inside so Zoe could watch some TV. This is the best thing ever: every time a black person comes on TV, Zoe goes absolutely apeshit. She had us laughing so hard I almost pissed my pants. Seriously, she'll stand there all attentive staring at the TV for minutes on end witout so much as a itty-bitty "woof." But as soon as any black person comes on TV, she barks and barks.
