Sunday night I watched the Michael Alago Netflix documentary called "Who the F**ck is That Guy" and there were some great shots of my Alphabet City neighborhood from the early 80s.
Spent Monday evening watching conspiracy videos of other people who'd noticed that in True Detective Season 1 a flock of birds comes together briefly in the shape of a spiral-triangle. Which, according to the FBI, is a symbol that pedophiles use in order to recognize each other.
Watched Christmas Story (which I enjoy but sometimes makes me feel like I'm in a bit of a holiday Groundhogs day where the years get shorter every year).
...and watching a documentary about a bunch of old school blues guitar players who apparently sold their SOUL TO THE DEVIL! I love their names: Johnny Shines....
...and watched Game of Thrones. (I also spent a ton of this trip listening to the audiobook of Dune and all of these photos make me think about Dune weirdness!)
Who likes crazy YouTube vidz more than me? Started Saturday morning off strong with a solid video on NLP techniques in the media.
(Hannity's always throwing up sixes!)
Not really feeling my new living room rug. I like that it's bigger than my last rug, but the pattern is so crazy and complex that it's hard to find anything I put down on the floor. Haha. On Saturday I tried watching some Wolf Hall on Netflix.
Maybe it was the new vaporizer, but I saw a documentary about flying fish and just could not stop thinking about them and how crazy it is that they exist. Flying. Fish.
Came back home and started watching creepy-as-hell THE JINX. His black eyes are so creepy! (I later learned he was wearing some kind of Japanese contacts that make the whites of your eyes seem smaller. Whaaa?)
...watching the fantastic documentary about the life and work of theoretical physicist Richard Feynman, The Pleasure of Finding Things Out. (Excellent - worth watching!)
I'd been toying with the idea of giving away my television for years, but it was easier to talk about than to actually do. As soon as I'd be ready to give it away, there'd always be a new show to watch. Eventually, my neighbor mentioned she needed a TV at her art gallery to display movies and it seemed like a good-enough cause to finally justify parting ways
