a thing in 37 photos in 2011 tv showing 2011 only · show all years After everyone went to bed, I watched Netflix on my laptop and spotted my UCB improv teacher Lennon on an episode of How I Met Your Mother ! ...they kept showing this picture of Soviet linguist, Yuri Knorozov who puts all of our attempts to look tough in photos TO SHAME! Haha. So bad-ass. Later that evening I watched a documentary about decoding Maya glyphs... ...we headed inside to complete the daily schedule with dinner and Seinfeld! ...and a little Breaking Bad. ...and watched a bunch of Breaking Bad on Netflix. ...had a brief cameo! Awwww! Later that night, we watched a show on HBO called How to Make It In America because a little someone we know... ...and watched Breaking Bad together! Either video games are getting less interesting, or I'm just getting too old for this shit. (*sigh*). Well, I guess I had a pretty good run. About an hour later while we were sitting in the airport waiting to board our flight, Bloomberg came on TV to announce the mandatory evacuation of where we'd been staying on Rockaway Beach. Doh! We stayed up late watching (almost all of) Downton Abbey. ...Truffaut's version of Fahrenheit 451. Jared came back and decisively took game four with a new high score! And did so tying Jared's 135 score from the first game! Jared took game 1! Oh, yes. Huge Matrix fans at the the old cafe, btw. ...and my favorite episode of Curb. Get up in that ass, Larry! Happy birthday, Gurjeeeeeeet! ...ready to bomb Baghdad? Five hours later... I had to get up early the next morning to go back to the meditation hall, so I had a quiet night in watching a few episodes of the Ricky Gervais show... ...in just a few photos. ...to know about this movie can be surmised... Everything you need... Found this beaut from 1982 on Netflix. This series was interspersed with little intro clips by Susan Sarandon. Later that night I started watching MOAR Joseph Cambell lecture series. Back at home, I spent the rest of the night watching more Joseph Campbell lectures on Netflix. SO GOOD! Spent the afternoon watching Joseph Campbell lectures on Netflix (my favorite thing they've had on so har!). Theyr'e all gone now, but they used to have 3 lecture series of his! (Sukhavati, Mythos, The Hero's Journey) Netflixin. Not quite the Neurosky headset, but basically I'm in league with the likes of this guy. Two-hours and forty-one minutes later... More of Karl Pilkington's delightful misery. ...and we stayed up late watching An Idiot Abroad! They also had Rodney Dale, co-author of The Manna Machine and breast-illustrating extraordinaire. With hair like that, you know you're getting THE REAL story.
