After everyone else went to bed, I stayed up until the wee hours of the morning watching MOST of this show. Haha. After they got back later that evening, we watched Stefon SNL clips and gorged ourselves on COOKIES! (Peanut butter cookies with a Hershey kiss on top are my FAVORITE!) Just because you're eating corn doesn't mean it can't be sexy . Second thing I did? Downloaded the Peep Show Series Seven premiere! Oh, the peep. After dinner, we set up the television on the patio and watched surf videos! Instructional piglets! After we were finished decorating, we might have celebrated by watching a bunch of S01 Office. When I play videogames, I like to pull up my green chair right in front of the tv for the full nerd-immersion. On Tuesday evening we enjoyed a Curly's Vegetarian Lunch feast... ...YES! Every 80s movie worth anything has an obligatory girls shower scene! Scandalized ladies! (Isn't that the lady that played the grandma in Happy Gilmore on the left?) ...and random boobies sprinkled liberally throughout. Luckily, we found some crazy wacky 80s movie that was on to cleanse the bad taste. I don't remember what it was called, but it had lots of hijinks... We hung out at the apartment and watched a TV show about people who are sexually excited by balloons popping. It made us both feel... TA-DA! Any watched After Hours . Haha. Any time Griffin Dunne shows up in a movie, you know you're in for a treat. Our dog looks like a tiny giraffe now everyone wants one that they can have sit next to them on the couch and get delicate kisses from. The lady on NY1 has a HAIR BERET! Dad was watching golf to his heart's content. On Tuesday night I watched the premiere of the Louis CK's new show on FX. It included a bunch of bits we'd seen him perform at the taping we attended back in February . Dangerous Type by The Cars. Gurj (getting kissed by Jared) in the credits! Ha! Mayor Bloomberg came and spoke and told everyone how he wanted NYC to take the "tech title" away from Silicon Valley. ...followed by an episode of Thunder Cats. We had 80s jams on the TV radio and Bruce Hornsby came on (instantly making our packing seem 45% more melancholy). ...and I tried my hardest to make her love Peep Show as much as I love Peep Show. But not even the closet scene where Mark accidentally jizzes in his drawers ("I'm a statue. A dirty, filthy statue ") managed to bring her around! Goth Bees, Billy? I took her real easy on Sunday. Half time. Laughed at program titles on the Lifetime channel. WHY YOU NO WATCH GRAMMY'S? WE MAKE 3D FOR YOU THIS YEAR! ...and watched the first three seasons of Peep Show in one sitting. Had myself a late night Friday Night Lights marathon. ...and watching Synedoche New York and Louis CK Chewed Up. (I loved both).
