My mom sent me this pic of my dad with his best friend Roger (who'd just gotten back to Florida after being in the UK) with Easter Bunny ears on. Pretty good.

We were freaking out a bit, because we needed the Wolverine to shuttle all the soon-to-be-arriving guests up and down the mountain...but luckily a quick trip over to Ronnie's Cycle across the state border and the tire was fixed and the Wolverine ready to run again! Yay!

Back in September of 2015, Lizzy came to my aparment to go through hundreds of my old music and nightlife photos as candidates for her then in-progress book! Five of my photos ended up making it into the final book....
Back in the beginning of January, I had commished Vin to draw me his interpretation of a bhavacakra. I showed him a few that I liked and explained the symbols and what it meant...7 weeks later he told me that he had a surprise for me...and came to my apartment with his drawing blown up huge and printed on silk!
Every single surface of the inside of the temple is covered in super-detailed Tibetan-style paintings. You're not allowed to photograph inside, but I wanted to share the huge Bhavacakra (Wheel of Life) painting on the way in.
Awww, travel buddies! It was magical that I got to bring these two people together! Thanks for making my Wilhelm Reich Roadtrip dream come true, you two!
john hands me his giant ring of keys and i'm excited that i get to drive. i'm a little sore from driving the previous day, but the museum is only 10 minutes away. i try to leave the motel by way of a parking lot with no exit. i make one of the many u-turns that we've made on the trip due to not knowing where we're going and phone, map, gps problems. it is both funny and frustrating at the same time. but mostly funny.
an older local couple of mainers strolls past looking at us with poker-faced curiosity. i wonder if she can smell john's mary jane and wonder if what she thinks of it if she can. she catches me watching her and i give her a big genuine smile. she has won me over with her new england poker face. she sees my smile is genuine and smiles back. i see her husband notice my smile peripherally but he doesn't turn his eyes or head to investigate further. not out of unfriendliness, more of a no-nonsense hurry to get to the motel office to get some kind of thing squared away.
Spent the afternoon poring over Mark Lombardi's incredible Global Networks "art book" that was lent to me by John Roche. The book is filled with his "sociograms" illustrating the relationships of power in the modern world.
Woke up early Saturday morning to some kind of crazy explosion sound. Looked out my window and there was smoke pouring out of grates across the street.
