On Saturday I made fast friends with this bodgeda cat. Sometimes I'm wary of cats....If I pet you, are you going to scratch me? But when they're wearing a bowtie, you know they're cool. lol
The big new on Ave D is there's a new deli opening up to challenge Sergio Deli Superette's longstanding deli-hegemony. What did they choose to call this new deli?
Later that evening, we walked down to the LES and Maddy had a serious stand-off with a bodega cat that was luckily, for Maddy's benefit, behind two inches of bullet-proof glass. After around two entire minutes of no movement on either part, the cat leaped at the glass out of nowhere and Maddy howled with fear. Haha.
I left the pool because DOUG WAS IN TOWN! It had been almost two years since his last visit (9/07). Trying to give people directions to your apartment is crazytown especially if they're not familiar with the area so it's always easier to tell people to go to the deli on our corner. Haha.
A little after 9pm, we decided to head back to our place. On the walk over, we stopped to pick up some treats at our corner store. BROTHER'S CANDY REPRESENT!
Meredith and I met up with Sean and Leigh at a bodega in the West Village over by the ACE subway line. We quickly stocked up on sorts of drinks and beach treats...
