Here are some accidental pics from my drum lesson recital at the Williamsburg School of Music on the last night of April. Playing along with Craig! Thanks for being such a great teacher, Craig! I had so much fun! Craig (our teacher) congratulating our class. Craig is the owner of the school and was my excellent teacher for the class. In addition to my casserole, I'd also brought along a backpack-full of NECK TOYS! We adjourned to Cynthia's office to try them out. A very therapeutic dance party. Craig busted out a guitar and started playing improvised neck-stretching songs. Much to his dismay, Craig drove the Wolverine right into a boulder that was hiding in long grass at the trail edge and popped a front tire! Shawn fired up the grill again.... Lovely outdoor dinner! AND in costume. Lol. Katie! SURPRISE! Happy birthday, Cynthia! ...and Chef Shawn treated us to some fantastic steaks! Met up with Cynthia & Craig and we attended one of the first times Katie Facada's taught a yoga class! Congrats, Katie! ....fireworks show! ...so we all headed out to hang on the porch and watch the sky... Cinco De Mayo taco party at Casa de Wang! Excellent beach day! (Everyone joked how it would take over two years for this picture to surface. Yep!) On Monday night I went to a TACO PARTY at Casa de Wang! I was reading a meditation book written by the HeartMath Institute and I have written down in my diary that I was practicing their technique on the subway ride to Brooklyn.

Later that evening, I headed over to Cynthia's for a fantastic... For dessert, we had assorted birthday donuts from the Donut Plant. Happy taco birthday! Before heading home... We picked up Craig and made it out to Jacob Riis before 1130! As far as "this is my last night in NYC" photos go, this is a pretty good one. Bye, Carol! We'll miss you! On Wednesday night, we went to Fontana's for Carol's going away party... Solid showing for 2am. ...to meet up with this dude-bro posse...
