Day 6: My flight wasn't until the early afternoon and the hotel was close to the airport... We got back to my hotel at 6:30 and packed up our things to head to Cancun. Day 5: Woke up early and enjoyed coffee on the porch... Day 3: I think I spent almost the entire day on this swinging beach bed... Why do I like the beach so much? ...I knew I'd made a good selection. I wasn't sure if my room was going to be good, but when I saw the water... They loaded up my bag into a wheelbarrow and walked me through the treeline in the sand. I love the cool vines and trees you have to walk through to get to the beach. On Saturday, Steve and I headed to Jensen Beach. ...and we drove to the lovely Jensen Beach. Gotta soak up the Florida sun! ...I drove to the beach to catch some much-needed Florida sun. She took this group photo of us all! On Sunday a bunch of us met up at Rockaway. This day was the first time we met Gaby! She was at the beach with her friends and Matt brought her over to say hi. Excellent day at the beach! Post-beach smiles! New boardwalk and beach ramps they put in after Hurricane Sandy looks nice. ...and then we hit the beach! They are planting new dune grass. Sky cleared up and we got a few hours of sunshine! It only counts if you swim! October 19th was a new record! We have a tradition each year where we like to see how late in the year we can go to the beach. Headed out to Coney Island with Grant! Made it to Jacob Riis beach parking lot around noon! Solid day, party brahs. ...and we headed out to Jacob Riis at Rockaway! ...we took her out to see the NYC beaches! Excellent Rockaway Beach Saturday! Stopped off for some to-go pina coladas on the way to the beach! ...followed by our first day of beach action! Up early on the balcony for another nice day! Puffed my lil weed pen and listened along from our balcony of privilege... Got back to the hotel to find Courtney Barnett fans going for it Ate out on the balcony and watched people mill around checking out bands. ...a suite room right on the water looking at one of the main stages! Score! View down the beach towards the other main stage. ...Hangout Music Festival! Gurj was there for work and had... Happy 2016! Took one last beach walk with Gurj before the sun set! We probably only lasted about 60 seconds or so, but we got in all the way and that's what counts! The Dude even got in a bit with us to make sure we were going to be alright! Maddy barked and barked from the warm safety of the sand. Here we gooooo The Dude running after us barking is the best. ...so everyone could watch Jared and I take a January 1st Polar Bear Swim in the frosty Atlantic! When everyone in the house was awake, we hit the beach again... We dried off back at the house... Star Wars looking house. Best way to kick off a new year! ...out for a beach walk! We arrived at the house Amalia was staying at just before dusk and it was incredible! Beach day! ...we headed out to Rockaway Beach. All beached out. Sarah & Ben brough their son Charlie along! Happy birthday, Amanda! On Saturday afternoon I went out to Rockaway Beach to celebrate Amanda's birthday! Beach birthdays are the best! Frozen drinks on the beach 4 life, son. Hit the sand by 11am!
