This is the office next to one of my startup clients. Funny to see the mix of old businesses (clothing wholesaler) next to the new ones (software company).
If it clips-on but gets so big that it looks like a hat, then it becomes a hatinator, which sounds like something professional haters drink when they are thirsty.
The cold Meredith had been fighting since we got home finally caught up with her. She had such terrible chills that she needed to wear my fur hat in bed. Look at that tan! I've never seen such a pretty sick lady!
I think we were taking a "sneaky photo" of the girl in the white fur hat in the background, but I forget why. I like this photo because Lawrence looks like a proud eight year-old for some reason. Haha.
On Friday night I went to karaoke to celebrate Matt Lesser's birthday! Matt was the "Sid" half of Sid & Buddy karaoke and is one of the two people pretty much responsible for getting me hooked on karaoke.
On the walk home it got really cold and I borrowed one of Amy's hats and it instantly transformed me into a Swede. "Hallo, I am Johann Von Hatsenfluergen."
She and her friend wanted to pose for funny pictures with him, but when her friend leaned in for the pic, she slipped and the two of them ended up falling backwards and...
On Thursday, future-roomie Niki was gracious enough to come up with present ideas for Meredith's birthday.I ended up getting her some fancy cutlerly, and cooking classes.
And then Grant tried on the hat (and gave me a shy smile). And then he got really angry at me when I showed this picture to my Grandfather. Hahaha. Grant had spent most of dinner asking my Grandfather macho questions about what he'd done in WWII, and so this feminine side of Grant seemed to confuse him. Until I cleared things up by leaning in and explaining "Yeah, we're friends but he's a little light in the loafers if you know what I mean." My Grandfather solemnly nodded. Later Grant kept punching me and saying "I can't believe you said that about me. To a veteran!"
