a person in 982 photos fatty On Tuesday night I met up with Meredith and Fatty... A VERY PICARAZZI CHRISTMAS! Later that evening, I headed out to Brooklyn to attend my favorite holiday party at Frank & Liz's... By 1pm on Sunday we'd finished driving the last of the guests down the mountain and then we cleaned up, packed and headed back to NYC. Thanks for coming up to celebrate the cabin with me, everyone! It was nice to be surrounded by people I love to process the bad news about my dad. Amanda and Dave. Jared and The Fatty. Happy birthday, Fatty Dave! Me & Fatty! The dining room turned into a playroom! Fatty, er, ahem, Dave made us breakfast in the morning. Had some holiday songs... Later that evening we took the metro north up to see the Fatemans! Late night crew. On Saturday night I headed out to Brooklyn for my favorite holiday party of the year.... Later that evening I met up with Fatty and we grabbed Indian food in the hood. Dave, Lize & Sascha. So much fun! I still think this should be turned into at least a quarterly party! But quickly devolves into karaoke where you can just name a song and the band will look up the chords (or Frank probably already knows them and will just shout out the changes!) Getting ready to head back home! ...Dave & Marina and their kids! ...and then Henry demanded his fair share of the action. Dave made the mistake of throwing Violet up in the air a few times... Maddy waiting for grill-droppings. ...and Dave's. Right below my FiASCO fridge magnet! Oh, (Fiasco pics, 2004-2007 ) Uhhh, glass of Merlot? Later that evening, Grant and Fatty came by and we bundled up to head out for... Got to see this guy (whose birthday is just 4 days later!) Schnacks! Back at the house, we got to meet Viotet... ...Fatty & Marina! Fatty picked us up at the train station... ...with my fellow culture vultures to see... On Wednesday night, Grant and I went over the Bower Diner to catch up with the Fatty! Marina's comedy preggo-belly! (Grant's expression in the background!) On Saturday afternoon, me, Amanda & Grant met up with a very pregnant Marina & Fatty for breakfast! We had homemade hot doughnuts out back at Back Forty. ...and we went for a bike ride down East River Park. We went out to dinner with Fatty... ...and stopped over to Ray's Candy Store for a soft-serve before heading home. Thankful for all the years I've known these two. Thanks so much for having us, Andy & Pepper! Fatty! Afterwards, I said farewell to Dave... Post-show food, drinks and catch-up. Great to see this guy! Later that afternoon, I walked a few blocks down the street to visit Fatty, Marina & Henry! Fatty crashed at our place and got to cuddle with Maddy. Met up with these guys late night for a drink and a slice! They killed it, but unfortunately only one of the chicks there was into Ozzy's older stuff. Flying High Again. After everyone got hopped up on treats, it was time for a set of Ozzy Osbourne songs with Grant on vocals. A lovely day... We arrived just in time to see the band take the stage. Dave and Henry! On Saturday afternoon we met up with Marina & Dave at Back Forty. Look what showed up in the mail on Monday! Awwww. ...because Dave had planned a surprise birthday party for Marina! Who I caught here with a mouth full of... On Saturday afternoon we went over to The Boxcar... ...if you're not going to lean into each other's backs and rock in time to the music together during that pivotal moment in the (Whitesnake) song. Why even bother being in a band with your brother.... After everyone had gotten their faces sufficiently stuffed with treats, the band took the stage! Marina and Dave! Fatty was telling us about how Marina was getting annoyed at him because he really enjoyed posting... ...but not before putting his sweater over his face like a NINJA! Hahah. We also heard a great story about the time that Dave saw Marina standing on the subway platform and decided to go over and say hello... ...to visit with Fatty, Marina and new, baby Henry! Dave shows off a fancy, new one-armed hold! Later on Saturday afternoon, I went out to Dumbo to meet up for brunch. Fatty's Uncle Ira was in town visiting! Sascha, Grant and Dave. (Clearly has no idea what he's doing.) Dave even took the time to dress Henry up in a Nasty Magic onesie! On Sunday we headed out to Brooklyn to see Marina and Dave and meet two-week old Henry for the first time! Then we all went to see Louis CK live at Carnegie Hall! Frank, Marina (with Henry inside!), Dave, Mer, Liz & Matt! Shout at the Devil onesie! Haha. ...HAPPY BIRTHDAY! We arrived at their apartment just in time to see Dave wish Marina an early... ... PIRANHA 3D! On Wednesday night we visited Marina and Dave and they proudly showed off the matching NASTY MAGIC t-shirt and onesie someone had given them as a gift. Dave had some leftover 'works leftover from a recent out of state trip and donated them for me to bring out to PA for the 4th of July. On Tuesday night I went out to Brooklyn to have dinner with Marina and Dave. (T-minus six months until baby Henry!) Everyone do "fusion" on the count of three! Fatty came over on Wednesday night! Fatty on the move. Jaden got to sing the first song. Ready? Sound check. Van full of awesome. Action shot walking over to the van.
