After everyone got hopped up on treats, it was time for a set of Ozzy Osbourne songs with Grant on vocals. We arrived just in time to see the band take the stage. ...because Dave had planned a surprise birthday party for Marina! Who I caught here with a mouth full of... ...if you're not going to lean into each other's backs and rock in time to the music together during that pivotal moment in the (Whitesnake) song. Why even bother being in a band with your brother.... After everyone had gotten their faces sufficiently stuffed with treats, the band took the stage! Andy and Pepper were there with their two boys... ...and their brand new, two-week-old baby girl! ...and Seth took over lead vocals. Go! Jaden rocked it! I can't remember, but I'm pretty sure it was a Foo Fighters song. Jaden got to sing the first song. Ready? Jaden's moves... Awesome. Pepper and Andy brought Jaden back out for some more dancing. Special dance-floor delivery! Andy and Jaden. Check out the height of the tent poles! Andy gave a heartfelt best man speech. Nicely done! We arrived to find the groom and best man surveying the beautiful tent that they'd set up in the back yard. Kit, Andy, Dave and Colin getting ready to head out. Congrats, Fatty! Instead of forcing Fatty to go to a noody bar in Queens , around 1am we all headed to our apartment and played Rockband. Haha. Dave and Andy (Big Fatty and Little Fatty!). After some warm up drinks and snacks at the Fatty's, we walked over to Flatiron for a BBQ feast at Hill Country. We were there to see Andy Fateman (aka - Little Fatty) play bass in his old band that had recently reunited to play a couple of shows. ...but Fatty kept leaning into the frame and "doin' the pigeon" with his head complete with his "rock n' roll feeeeeels goooooood" face. Hahaha. But then instead of continuing to play their "hits," they spent the rest of the show playing shitty cover songs. Here's me and Kip reactive to Poison playing a Tom Petty song! WTF? Turns out, they were promoting the release of their upcoming album Poison'd , that's entirely comprised of (shitty) cover songs. Ugh, it was awful . Poison, you broke my 7th-grade heart. Little Fatty was totally star-struck by Bret's little squashed cowboy hat on the big screen! Look how giddy he is! Hahahaha. Check out the Brothers Fateman! Excited much? Can you tell who the real Poison fan in this photo is? ...and were picked up by Fatty's little brother, Andy. (aka - "Little Fatty"). And what is the reason for this Tuesday night pilgrimage to the fine, south shore of Long Island? If you look at how small Fatty looks in the background of this picture, you might conclude that his back patio is really long. In reality, the patio's only like 10 feet long - the optical illusion is a result of this being a photo of Fatty's much smaller brother, Andy (aka "Little Fatty). Oh, except for the whole "has a chick hugging his crotch" thing. How much does the Litte Fatty (Dave's brother, Andy) look like the Big Fatty? Big Fatty the bass player poses with Little Fatty the bass player. On Friday night Fatty and I went to Plaid to see Fatty's little brother's band play. I cuh-rush your head! Happy April everybody! On Saturday night, a bunch of us headed up to the upper West Side for a dinner party at Pepper and Lil' Fatty's aparment. There's Little Fatty in the background! Then Pepper (wife of Little Fatty), Frank, Liz, Regular-sized Fatty and me. Andy (Fatty's little brother! Ha!), Pepper, and The Grizza (yes, he's back in town - pics of his welcome back party coming soon!)
