Later Saturday night, we headed out to Frank & Liz's apt in Brooklyn! Liz decided to make KNARFs (Just "Frank" spelled backwards - Frank's way of taking a whole pizza and folding it in a half into a giant calzone) but their oven was on the fritz...
Just in case there was any doubt about who planned this party (*cough* Frank's Mom *cough*), all the guests received silver lasagna serving spatulas. So awesome. Congrats Frank and Liz! Now get to work on some grandchildren already, will ya?
Heather, Colin (formerly known as "Big Daddy" who from this day forward will be known as "King of Clocks" or K.O.C - go ahead, say it out loud!), Liz and Frank.
Best picture ever! Liz and Frank making the rounds to all the tables. (Boy, this "small party" is getting to seem more and more like a REGULAR WEDDING! And Liz, isn't that like a wedding dress you're wearing? Mrs. Picarazzi totally tricked you two into HAVING A WEDDING! Hahahaha.)
Awwww. (Rumor has it that Frank had to go to dance school for the party. Thought you'd be able to avoid that with the whole "sneaky beach wedding" thing, eh? WRONG!)
On Sunday, Fatty and I headed out to Brooklyn to meet up with Colin, Heather and Frank in Prospect Park. After a few hours of tossing the 'bee around, Heather suggested we check out the Japanese Cherry Blossom Festival at the nearby Brooklyn Botanical Gardens.
Stern Liz, Heather, Colin and Colin's hair (it's so volumnous, it's become a separate entity. In fact, from this day forth, Colin's hair will be called Bill).
Somewhere in the backwoods of Vermont, we ran into this cool little diner that was made out of a converted railroad car and decided to have lunch there.
We woke up early on Saturday morning, thought about skiing for a half-day, but when Fatty informed us that his pulled muscle still really hurt, it was the only excuse we needed to reset the alarm for noon and go back to sleep. We made it into the car a little before 1pm and started driving to Boston for Seth's surprise party.
After we checked into our hotel room, Fatty and I decided we were going to see if any bars were open and Liz decided she was going to go to sleep. As we were getting ready to leave, she came out of the bathroom in this hot number and explained "Frank (our good friend and Liz's fiance) made me take the flannel cat pajamas - he didn't want you two clowns thinking anything dirty - and these flannel pajamas that, as you can see, have cats on them, will no doubt prevent that." Hahaha.
We still managed to somehow get caught in rush hour traffic leaving the city and it took us like 2 hours to get 45 miles away. Slightly discouraged, we decided to get some roadside food. And Fatty decided to make the best face ever.
Monday night we all headed over to see Frank and Seth (who was in town from Boston) sit in with some hot band over in jazz/blues bar in on Grove Street in Greenwich Village.
After a long day of moving, we all headed back to my apartment on the Bowery where Frank and Liz thanked us with pies from Lombardi's! Mmmmmmmmmm! Best pizza in the world. Then after dinner...
Later that night I went out to Frank and Colin's place in Brooklyn to watch the Superbowl. (They actually had two TV sets set up right next to each other: one with the game on mute, the other showing HBO Sunday night TV! Hahah. Curb Your Enthusiasm was so much better anyway.)
