But quickly devolves into karaoke where you can just name a song and the band will look up the chords (or Frank probably already knows them and will just shout out the changes!) On Saturday I went out to Frank & Liz's apartment for the TENTH installment of my favorite holiday party of the season: A Very Picarazzi Christmas! They killed it, but unfortunately only one of the chicks there was into Ozzy's older stuff. After everyone got hopped up on treats, it was time for a set of Ozzy Osbourne songs with Grant on vocals. Treats and tunes = HOT NEWS! ...that got even lovelier when Pepper unveiled the treat table! A lovely day... I expected Frank to be on kit, but we showed up to find him on the keys instead! Always impressed either way. ...sang a bunch of tunes together! On Saturday evening, Grant and I headed out to Brooklyn to Frank & Liz's. We played Cranium with some friends of theirs and then... Chris, Frank & Nina! Uncle Ira & Frank. Then we all went to see Louis CK live at Carnegie Hall! Frank, Marina (with Henry inside!), Dave, Mer, Liz & Matt! Who wants an ice cream sandwich? (This photo makes me scream with laughter every single time I look at it) The neighbor's upstairs lights came on immediately after the first explosion and we all ran into the house for some dessert! ...but once Frank's got a 'work in hand, it's go time. Liz was trying to put the brakes on things... After we'd filled our bellies, Frank suggested we celebrate the luxury of having a backyard with a few humble 'WORKS! BON APPETITE! Frank entertained while Liz tended... On Friday night Liz and Frank came over for dinner! Frank! Dave and Frank = Hot news! Frank in the crowd! Frank on vocals. On Saturday afternoon, Grant and I went out to Brooklyn to meet Frank and Liz's newborn daughter, Lydia! Here she is with Papa Frank! Which sorta became the catalyst for a 2nd little mini-party in my bedroom. Good times. At some point we noticed that Frank had disappeared from the party. We found him in my room checking football scores (???) on my computer! Holy shit, you're going to be a dad in 2006, Frank! Fatty played Auld Lang Syne on a tiny, tiny bugle. Frank showed off Liz's work in progress! Lydia coming soon! And then it was time for New Year's Eve Portraits! Featuring... ...this guy! Frank Picarazzi in the house! Right as we were all about to leave, Seth arrived from Boston and we ended up sticking around a while longer so we could hear a few more songs - this time with Seth on vocals. Then Liz busted out a birthday cake! Happy Birthday, Frank! After we got our drink on and snack on, Frank moved over to the vibes and he and Mike played some Holiday tunes. And then he talked some baby-talk to his cat. Frank told some incredible stories... Frank showed off some hot, shake-face action. But most definitely got upstaged... Frank warmed up playing a few lil' diddies on the keyboard. Check out the intensity with which Francesco plays the triangle. Hahah.
