Sunday, November 1st

I woke up on Sunday morning with crazy post-Halloween hair and (secret tranny!) residual eye make up!

Leaves changing colors in Stuytown outside our building.

maddy, meredith — Later that afternoon, I came back to the apartment and Meredith made...

...jaffles filled with all sorts of different delicious fillings (baked beans! peanut butter honey & banana! marinara and cheese!)

We watched Interview with a Vampire. The scene where Tom Cruise lets Brad Pitt suck all the hot liquid right out of his...

...er, wrist, is gayer than eight dudes blowing nine dudes. Amazing.

meredith, mitzi — Our pet rat Mitzi was getting old and sick and we spent a lot of time just chilling with her.

mitzi — Lovable vermin.

me, meredith — Also noteworthy on Sunday was the custom mouse pad Meredith gave me as a gift out of the blue. A-dorable. (This picture of us is from when we were in Thailand.)

una — Later Sunday night we went to Congee House for Alex's birthday.

Their cocktail list is AMAZING both in selection and price. I'll take Liquid Marijuana...

...a Kumquat Juce & Lime with Jelly, and, oh yes, also the Liquid Cocaine.

meredith — Haha.

maddy, meredith, pauly — Holy shit, this was an epic day. Later that night Pauly came over for Family Night and he showed up with CINNAMON ROLLS.

maddy — Our dog has silly, pointy feet and neck moles.

Tuesday, November 3rd

geordon — On Tuesday night I went to Geordon's birthday dinner at B Bar.

geordon, sophia l — Happy birthday!

leigh — After, I went over to Leigh's house and she whipped out scissors and turned an old blanket...

...into a DIY snuggie vest! Wear it backwards to keep your chest warm...

...or turn it around for a toasty night on the town! (Flu-shot band aid. TREND ALERT!)

We made bagel bites.

Friday, November 6th

maddy — I love the faces Maddy makes when she's chewing food.

sarah — Sarah came over for a late night hang.

Saturday, November 7th

biggy, maddy — On Saturday we met up with Matt and his dog at the dog park.

biggy, maddy — Maddy and Biggy!

brandon, daniela, matt — We also ran into Daniella and Brandon!

matt — Later that night we made friends with friends.

mark holmes, matt, the situation — When Jersey Shore first came out Matt was stoked because he could show off his abs by "making fun of" The Situation. Haha.

Sunday, November 8th

cynthia — On Sunday night we met up with a bunch of people at a bar off of Grand Street to surprise Katie with a (welcome home?) party! Cynthia prepares a cupcake feast!

Wednesday, November 11th

meredith, pauly — On Wednesday Pauly came over.

me, tom b — Later that night I met up with the Beebs! I hadn't seen him in years and we got to catch up.

Friday, November 20th

me, meredith — On Friday night we went to see...

fatty — ...a cover-band called HIPSTER: The House Band of the Lower East Side.

ellen, katie h, marina, meredith — Kaitie, Ellen, Marina, Meredith.

They had a few different guys come up and sing. Fun show.

ellen — After the show we stopped at a bodega to pick up some treats.

meredith — And some delicious Mackerel in Brine. Mmmm, briny!

On Saturday I bought an 88-key MIDI controller and tried a few different learning programs.

Sunday, November 22nd

maddy — On Sunday I hung out with Dr. Jenkins...

...and enjoyed a cinematic classic.

amanda, meredith, pauly — Later that night Pauly and Amanda came over. Buds and snacks.

Tried to get a game of Catan going but without an experienced player around to answer questions, it wasn't much fun. :(

Tuesday, November 24th

jared, jeet — After work on Tuesday night, I walked over to the Grammercy Theater to see Jared's band play! Here's Jared fresh off the road with Gurj before the show.
