Also got this great (and super-weird) new book on Ceremonial Magic Rituals by Alejandro Jodorowski (the film maker who made The Holy Mountain, among others!) (And who kind of looks a bit like David in the photo above!)
Spent the afternoon poring over Mark Lombardi's incredible Global Networks "art book" that was lent to me by John Roche. The book is filled with his "sociograms" illustrating the relationships of power in the modern world.
...and then came home to read this great book (that has almost the same flower on the cover)! Plant Intelligence and the Imaginal Realm. "A manual for opening the doors of perception and directly engaging the intelligence of the Natural World "
Was reading "How to Stop Worrying and Start Living" by Dale Carnegie. Screenshotted this page as a note to self - start keeping a diary! "How fascinating these entries will be when you chance upon the some evening, years from now!" Indeed!
Spent the afternoon at the witchy bookstore in my neighborhood reading crazy books by John Dee about ENOCHIAN, a language that was revealed to him so he could better communicate with them.
The Harry Potter character, Albus Dumbledore, is based on John Dee . He was Queen Elizabeth I's royal advisor and astronomer and went by the nickname 007 (which is where Ian Flemming got James Bonds' nickname from!).
