He immediately cracked it open and started scanning for gems to read out loud. Haha. Twenty hours later and I made to the last book in my stack! Second to last book to finish before heading back to the library! Meredith's picks! Afterwards, we went to the library! My selections. Back at the house, I read The Lonely Polygamist: A Novel ...and picked up some new ones! (When I'm vacation I am a reading machine. If I've got the time, I'll sometimes go through 4 or 5 books a week!) On the way home, I dropped a few books off at the library... Not his best, but still had a few lulz. Squirrel Seeks Chipmunk: A Modest Bestiary Also found out we're just a few blocks from the Queens Public Library. Mer and I got ourselves cards. I really liked this book. Sad and tender. The Rug Merchant If you are interested in meditation, this book is a great read and an easy place to start! Turning the Mind Into an Ally Excellent read! The Path Is the Goal: A Basic Handbook of Buddhist Meditation I found her stashed away in the closet upstairs with a book and some cheese and crackers! Haha. I take notes when I read non-fiction. Some of my scribbles from reading We Have Met the Enemy: Self-Control in the Age of Excess Ellen also got Meredith Amy Sedaris' new book! I dug up this old book for my Ancient Alien-watching friends. Light lunch reading. I like reading out there books, but this one was a little bit too out there for even me.
