Now that my dad is retired and my mom is still working, she said it's only fair that HE should start cooking dinner a few times a week. She's been saying this for years and I think it's yet to happen. So for Christmas she got him a few of Rachael Ray's books to help him along.

Later that night, Meredith came over with good news and bad news. The good news was she was finally ready to get back together. The bad news was that she wanted me to read the book Men Are Mars, Women Are from Venus. book
And this one that ruled my night! Nelson DeMille is pretty much the best "I'm on vacation and want to read a Hollywood Blockbuster" writer ever.
book
Monday night a bunch of us went over to Sarah's to celebrate something (finishing her book?) and to have some beers and get warmed up for some pirate-themed party she and Karen were DJing at the Delancey.
book
Over breakfast we busted out the guidebook we'd bought the day before in NYC...
book
On Tuesday I checked out the much-anticipated biography on David Fateman...
