So many presents! Thanks again to Grant for organizing my surprise housewarming and thanks to all my friends who sent a gift. Totally overwhelmed with gratitude.
At the end of dinner, Grant serenaded Amanda with his own re-written lyrics to the song "Mandy" by Barry Manilow. It was so funny. "We shared a rock and roll dream and that Gold Street apartment because you didn't say no when I moved in without asking." Lol.
On Friday I went to the MiN perfume store and picked out a fragrance with the gift card that David had gotten me for my 40th birthday. Thanks, David I smell real good.
Afterwards, I went over to Richie Baxt's famous East Village apartment (Richie's Guitars!) and bought myself this gorgeous birthday present! My first acoustic guitar!
Later that afternoon, I took Brett to a music store and bought him a guitar for Christmas! He'd been wanting to learn for a while. Learning that first Amaj chord!

that allows you to get at hard to reach muscle-knots on your back. (While I'll still occasionally use this and it's awesome, I know pretty much recommend buying a lacrosse ball and using it to roll against a wall. Much easier!)
