Later that evening, Grant and I went over to Clayton's to watch the DOD's latest Oscar-winning film, Zero Dark Thirty. Nice to see where our tax dollars are going! (Did you know that Smith-Mundt Modernization Act of 2012 overturned a law that was in place for 64 years that made it illegal for the government to directly propagandize to American citizens? The new law not only makes it legal, they now have a congressional budget to do so) Happy March, 2013!
A few weeks prior I emailed Mike D to tell him that I'd be in town visiting with Gurj and Jared. He told me that he and Tanya were going to be out of town that week but said "Why don't you all stay at our new apartment? I'll mail you a set of keys!" And that's how we ended up with a parking spot...
Oh, did I forget to mention that my dad's brother bought the condo next door that's attached to my parent's place and also has a golf cart parked in his garage? It's like they're starting a retirement GANG. So awesome.
About 45 minutes later, we'd arrived at my parent's new house! My dad hit the button and opened the garage door and Mer and I both yelled with excitement when we saw the golf cart parked inside. We had sorta thought my parents were kidding. But nope, there it was.
