After dropping the dogs off at my parents' house we headed over to my great aunt and uncles house! Their grandkids are still younger so it's fun go get to see them get their presents!
On Christmas Eve my family drove down to South Jersey to attend the Birds' annual holiday party. Ann and Walt Bird are my Great-Uncle and Great-Aunt! Here's Uncle Walt who I've always thought looks a lot like the father from the movie A Christmas Story.
Saturday was Christmas Eve so I went down to South Jersey with my family to attend my Great Uncle and Great Aunt's annual Christmas Eve party. Here's my mom with my Great Uncle Walt and Aunt Ann!
The next day was Thanksgiving! My grandparents and my cousins, the Carricks, came up for family dinner at my parent's house. Here's my trying to set the auto-timer on his camera to take a photo of all of us at the dinner table. Every year he sets the timer, presses the shutter, then races all the way around the table and tries to make it to his seat and smile before the picture is taken. He almost NEVER makes it. (Check out Cousin Chad in the background laughing in anticipation of the race). Ok, ready dad?
For Christmas day, my grandparents and one of my mom's sister's family (The Carricks) came to our house. Christmas dinner in the house y'all. When I say "Hey," you say "Ho!" Now when I say "Je" you say "sus!"
Here's Walt with my cute little cousin, uhhh, Whathisname. (Hey, he's really my second cousin once-removed which technically gives me another year or two before I'm required to know his name).
