We wandered around and grabbed a bite after. Tyson was in town and I met up with him and Matt to hit the Russian Baths! Late night drinks with Ty & Matt. <3 ...to see the All American Rejects play a set. Out of all the venues I saw, Seattle had the most epic tunnel entrance to the stage. Met up with Tyson... Cee lo and LRC. Big winner! (This photo basically sums up tour pretty good) After we ate, we hit a nearby barcade. Tyson always stopped to say hi to fans and take a pic. Always sweet to see. Love getting to watch the show... ...the show from the side of the stage. Such a treat to get to watch... Went for late night drinks at a local bar! Afternoon bus hang. ...sweet, sweet perks of being backstage! ...and everyone gathered to watch some of the footage he'd recently grabbed. Farewell back to LA! Cabin all to ourselves. Went out late night to meet up with these handsome gents after a fancy gig they had. Sunday brunch club in the EV with these guys. Afterwards, we met up with Ty & Caiti! ...and loving their adorable dog. Spent the afternoon catching up... Got drunk as a skunk and talked about life with these two lovelies. ...and then go out into the crowd! ...for another evening of East Village campfire! Later in the evening, I stopped by the secret woods-house in the East Village that Ty was renting... ...and hung out by the fire until the wee hours! ...and catch up with this handsome man who was in town for the night. My second favorite photo from tour! Haha. Scotty's face as he's doing the "casual lean-in" makes me laugh so hard every time I look at it. Tyson got his face-painted with a pirate eye-patch before the meet and greet. Watched Tyson make himself an awesome new pair of pinstriped pants with gaffer tape... Thanks to this guy for making my rock n' roll dreams come true! Happier than a kid on Christmas. I like this photo because you can tell that Tyson is jumping up excitement as Chris is unwrapping. Tyson went with Dylan. I was exhausted after just 2 days of being on tour and I didn't even have a job to do! It was really impressive to watch the bands put on such high energy shows night after night. After, we did a little more skateboard exploration... Met up with some people that Tyson knew in town and had a few afternoon drinks. Tyson climbed up the wall over to the balcony railing. Tyson chatting out the window to some fans who had arrived early. We retired to the Allen Street lounge. No hotel party can withstand a 3am manvasion like this. Crosstown cab to a hotel party on Crosby. Later in the night I went over to Caiti's to meet up with John, Scott and Ty who'd just arrived in town. On Tuesday night I went out for drinks with these guys! Yay! So awesome. On Wednesday afternoon we watched the DVR of the All-American Rejects playing The Tonight Show! On Monday afternoon, the few people who were still left got together for one last meal together. We asked a passerby to take one final photo... The host with most. Thanks again for all the hard work and planning you put into the party, Ty! We had an amazing time! Zack went next. Z! ...and then gave the tattoo gun to Zack! So awesome. In order to get said light-up dance floor filled, Ty and Jason manned the topless-lady ICE LUGE... Ty. A toast to the host! Zack, Jackie and Ty. ...before Tyson & Zack came around to make sure everyone was suited up in appropriate "seventies porno" attire for dinner! ...and then went for some sunset cocktails on the beach. We walked over to Ty's place to find Ty, Zack & Jackie putting together goodie bags for the guests! ...and we all went out for a nice dinner at Fish Out of Water. Later that evening, Gravy & Mouth arrived... We were among the first guests to arrive! Our handsome host. Fork in the socket. Then later that afternoon I had lunch with Tyson who had to take a break to listen to mixes that he'd just been sent for his band's forthcoming record. ...and slayed American Girl . Tyson took the stage... ...that you're coming up out of the water! It's a pretty crazy feeling to just roll on up... ...Manhattan! Next stop... There is something totally surreal and freeing about being on the water in a little personal boat where you can just drive right up to the Statue of Liberty. It just didn't seem real. We sat around underneath it for a while and rested our arms. Before moving on, our guides got momentarily serious and explained to us that as we got closer to Manhattan, a helicopter might fly up to give us a look and make sure we didn't pose a threat - so if that happened, we should wave and smile nice for the person would most likely be viewing us through a sniper's scope. GOOD TO KNOW, thanks. Ready to ride. I didn't know ahead of time that the jetskis that we were riding... Less than ten minutes later... We arrived in Sheepshead Bay a little after 1pm... Flexdown!
