a thing in 22 photos camping Love coming back to see all my friend's camped out on the property in tents! ...was waking up to stretch and have some coffee. Everyone that camped outside in tents... Broke camp and hit the road around 11! With camp settled and a cozy fire going, it was time for this GOURMAND to prepare... Got drunk as a skunk and talked about life with these two lovelies. ...and hung out by the fire until the wee hours! Matt bet us that he could get the chipmunk to eat out of his had. We were totally skeptical, but within minutes... By 11am we'd broken camp and gotten everything packed away. Before breaking down our camp, we put out some granola and hid in the tent to see if any critters would be bold enough for a closer look. No fires allowed, but a bunch of our clothes were still cold and damp from getting caught in the rain. So we built a really small fire to dry some stuff out before leaving. After breakfast, we set off to explore the area and lucked out... Camper Matt chowing down in front of the glacier. ...everyone was awake! Busted out the camping stove and made breakfast. Woke up before 7am, excited to be the middle of the nature with no more rain! Walked a little bit further and our tents disappeared from sight. By the time I got back to camp... ...before it started again and kept up all night. We hung out for a bit in the evening... Hurry, the cloud approaches! Photo to prove to future generations that I saw a real glacier.
