...and made everyone breakfast steak sandwiches. ...was waking up to stretch and have some coffee. Everyone that camped outside in tents... Woke up to a lovely foggy Saturday morning. Fog swallow! Biked down to Chinatown for a day of TREATIN MYSELF! We took naps! We arrived. ...and so I kind of gave up using it for a while. Somehow my camera got wet ...was only temporary! The sun burning up the dewy fields. The reason we'd gotten up so early is because we'd decided to go... When the sun sets and the land starts to cool, the entire area is blanketed in fog. Terraced view. Even more up! Things started to get foggy and then we realized, "Oh, it's foggy because we drove up into the clouds." Then, when you've got everything you think you're going to need, you make your own soup right there at the table! So fun! Who's that lucky foggy lady in the middle? ....and if you look a little more to the south you can see San Francisco in the background.
We headed over the Golden Gate bridge towards Marin County. Check out the bridge all shrouded in fog from the Bay.
On the other side we parked in the little scenic pull-over area and watch the fog roll across the bridge.
On Monday morning I still had a pretty bad fever but managed to pull myself up off the couch and into my hot rental (seriously, you know my Sentra makes all you girls mad wet, yo) to explore the city a bit. Here's the obligatory shot of the Golden Gate bridge.
