If you're ever wondering why I'm not posting photos here so much anymore, it's because a few years ago I got lost in the world of music. Now instead of working on this site, a lot of nights I just end up playing guitar until my eyes don't stay open. Happy July 2014!
Davo came back to mine for a few days on Tuesday. We spent the afternoon designing fliers to try to get more people to come to our new weekly dance party....
Then later that afternoon I had lunch with Tyson who had to take a break to listen to mixes that he'd just been sent for his band's forthcoming record.
Sleeping late means that I'd still be wide awake at like 6am in the morning. Rather than bother Meredith, usually I'd sit on her stoop for awhile chain smoking and listening to "trying to calm the fuck down" records and chain-smoking. And occasionally taking, "Whoa, I'm drunk," self-portraits like this one.
With the exception of an upcoming photo where Sarah is pouring an entire beer out on her own head, this is my favorite picture of her. Talking, smoking, drinking, DJing, pimping.
