Yo, props to all you parents out there. After a single long day of playing with a kid, as soon as it's night time I'm out on the porch for a puff, a beer, and a cheese crackers schnack (or three).
I spent most of Wednesday spring cleaning my apartment. I caught sight of myself sweeping and drinking a beer pantless and decided it was a toastable moment. Living the dream.
...and sitting around with this guy having late-night talks about life. (Later in night, while I was sound asleep, the bus driver had to brake quickly and it caused the fruit basket Jon is resting his arm on to fall upon my head!)
I love this photo. (Also, as a side note, on different days I notice that I unconsciously purchase grocery items of the same color. Apparently this day was a "red and orange" day.)
Hahaha. Devra and the other guy completely DEMOLISHED their beers. It was impressive. They even had time to wipe their chins clean and compose themselves before fixing Dominic with these awesome looks. Hahaha. NOT IMPRESSED!
...and about 10 seconds later Dominic found himself with a beer his hand with Devra and Jodee's guy insisting Dom show what he's made of! GAUNTLET DOWN!
You think after getting so drunk on "big beers" that I french-kissed a senior citizen on my birthday back in 2003, I would've learned my lesson. But, NOPE!
Us three drunk ones all ordered "big beers" which are 32oz styrofoam cups of beer that completely cover your entire face when you drink out of them. Hahaha.
Hahahaha! How amazing is this photo? "COLLEGE! WOOOOOO!" I pretty much spend the whole day sitting on the quad, enjoying the sunshine while Meredith caught up with old friends she hadn't seen in a while.
The nice thing about living in NYC is that you probably don't have a car which means you can always take "full advantage" of an open bar. I ended having to keep my rental-car keys on the table as a reminder to take it easy.
Brandon was in town from Budapest and he came to the Annex to meet up with us! (Which meant that I was now hanging out in the Annex with two guys I met while traveling in Thailand who were in New York staying with me and a guy that I met because he read this site and offered to put Grant, Jake and I up at his friends' houses in both Berlin and Budapest! Crazytown!).
...you can always find ways to keep on drinkin' for free! Hahaha. (By the way, I'm writing this almost two years after this photo was taken and when I recently showed this pic to Mike he just groaned and said "I always knew that picture would come back to haunt me.")
Smoking. Eating. Drinking. No big deal. This was our last night in Japan, so over dumplings we decided to make the most of it by not going to bed that night!
