At first I was skeptical because I figured Italian food in Thailand would be crummy, but the placed turned out to be owned by actual Italians and it was one of best Italian meals I'd ever had! If you're ever in Phuket looking to get your grub on, you should check it out.

Rob and Atsuko's apartment was towards the top of a huge, residential skyscraper and there was a 24-hour snack shop (sort of like a 7-11) on the ground level. Mike, Andy and I went down there to do some late night exotic snack shopping. Here's our bounty.

On the way back to the hostel, I stopped in a store and decided to pick up a Korean souvenir for my family. I decided on this tasty dish. Any guesses as to what it is? Well, if you guessed...

The next morning I learned the hard way why a gallon of that mystery liquor only cost $8. ("Ow, myfuckinghead!!!"). Thankfully, the little snack-shop inside our school sold something called "Hangover Solution Dawn 808." At first I was skeptical, but much to my surprise Dawn 808 fixed me right up. I just Googled it and found out that they have since started selling it in the US. I visited their website totally learned about how it works:

Ever the intrepid fast-food connoisseur, I eschewed some of the finer Estonian eateries and opted instead to check out (Estonia's very own??) HESS BURGER. Mmmm...tastes just like home, except, um, different and deliciously weird. After I finished eating I noticed it was starting to get dark so I went back to Vana Tom to read for a while and take a little nappity nap.

After a light dinner at home, we were still feeling carsick from the overly bumpy (and long) ride home. We decided to take it easy at the condo. We even managed to find a delicious granola snack that described our photoshoots earlier on in the day.
