At first I was skeptical because I figured Italian food in Thailand would be crummy, but the placed turned out to be owned by actual Italians and it was one of best Italian meals I'd ever had! On the way back into the shallows, we saw this really big, beautiful spotted eel. Which I learned, after being stopped from reaching down to touch it, was an ELECTRIC EEL!
