Started the month off strong with a visit from Jane and a new flavor of ice cream, Peanut Butter Cookie Core! Skull & Crossbones ice-cream cake for my 12th birthday, August 1988. ...and got myself a two-tone. ...and then had ourselves a Big Gay Icecream in the park. Later that night, we hit the Sonic drive-in for some tots and ice cream... Yes. ..and pineapple in blueberry compote with vanilla ice cream for dessert. (This whole meal was less than $40!) ...and stopped over to Ray's Candy Store for a soft-serve before heading home. On Wednesday night, Gurj, Jenny & Josh came over after work and we had an ice cream party. Haha. Happy March 2011! ...binged on a bunch of the exotic new Ben & Jerry ice creams that apparently aren't available in Canada. (Take that, free healthcare!) While he and I gorged ourselves... ...to do some bodega treat-shopping around the corner! ...complete with two new flavors of Ben & Jerrys. (whoa). We had ourselves a little store-bought treat-fest... ...YES!... Back at home, we celebrated with Nutty Buddies... Hahaha. Who wants an ice cream sandwich? Hahah. Instead of ice cream cake, we just had an Ice cream soup party! We have a treat-tastic summertime freezer. It's so good you can almost forgive the music the truck plays. We didn't have any decorative icing, so Sarah and Leigh improvised. They covered the cake in ton of sprinkles and then used brownie crumbs to spell out D-A-N. Hahaha. It was Dan's birthday and Sarah surprised him with an ice cream cake. Happy birthday, Dan! ...and I picked out this gallon tub of orange-colored CHEESE-FLAVORED ice cream. (It was good in a weird way. Very strange. Didn't end up making it through the gallon but I enjoyed trying it). ..AND EAT THEM AS ONE! Why decide between between strawberry and chocolate when you can just take one of each... MLE cutting up what turned out to be ICE CREAM CAKE! Holla! Scott was hiding out in the white "photo room" and...uh....eating Mickey Mouse-shaped ice cream ? And sundaes! Who's happier than me? Hahahaha. Best. Photo. Ever! Then, while waiting to find a taxi back to our hotel, we scored some McD's softserve... Best. Sunday (sundae!) ever. Hahaha. A few hours later, we gathered up our stuff and decided it was time to do all the normal post-beach stuff. You know, like get ice pops... Candles on soy ice cream! Make a wish!
