We quickly left the park and Fatty told me he needed an ice cream to help chase away the lingering heebies he'd picked up during our witness of public man-animal love. (Extra sprinkles were never needed so badly.)
Being that we were leaving Crete in the morning to head back to the UK, we decided to take one more trip into Rethymnon to walk around and get some ice cream.
In addition to raki, the guy that we chatted up at this restaurant brought us free ice cream sundaes too! Booze and ice-cream before 1pm. And it's not even my birthday!
You can't really tell but the German chick sitting over my shoulder was really cute and Grant insisted on capturing her in a pic so he could "use it later" whatever that means. Here's me as the photo decoy.
After dinner, Grant went to the car to take a nap while Chris, Fatty and I got ice cream and debated whether or not we were up for another (most-likely uneventful) night out on the town (By the way, check out a totally butt-ass wasted Fatty double-fistin' it with TWO cones!). As we sat outside eating our ice cream, I noticed, lo and behold, that there was a super-cute girl working the door of the club across the street giving us the hairy eyeball. So after I finished my ice cream, I walked across the street to chat her up and discovered...
We were all laughing at the whole OF THE FUTURE bit - or at least we were until we made our ice cream selection and all of a sudden this vacuum-powered, robotic arm came down from out of nowhere, opened up the little cooler, selected our icecream packet and vacuu-sucked it up outta the box. We were all, "Holy shit. This is the future."
After walking around the mall for a bit we decided to head over to the iMax theater and watch "Kilimanjaro." But not before we purchased some Dippin' Dots (aka - THE ICE CREAM OF THE FUTURE!!! )
