It was pleasantly mind-bending to spend the day at Action Park with Scott's kids who are only a few years shy of being the same age we were when we used to go there twenty years ago! Great seeing you guys!
After BBQ, a bunch of different people played music. And then after a few songs, the musicians invited kids and anyone else who wanted to play music up to join them. I wish every party had this. It's so weird that we mostly listen to recorded music at parties instead of make it.
We actually didn't mind at all. We had a way funner time than anyone else because we got to do coloring and no one else did. Here's Mer and Abbey tag-teaming a page out of one of Abbey's coloring books.
Later that afternoon, we all piled into the Jentzen family minivan and got a lift all the way around the lake back to our car. Here's Meredith, Erika, Liam (in the back with his kindergarten graduation hat on!) and Abby.
The only pics I have from my time in NJ are from when Scott brought his two kids down to my parents house to visit and I took them out into the backyard to help them overturn rocks and hunt for bugs.
There's no joke that can be made here that doesn't seriously put me in danger of having my ass royally whupped by a very large, bald man. (In fact, I'm not even sure if allowed to joke around about not being allowed to joke around)
Amy and Abbey (who from the look of things is still getting used to the sensation caused from the wearing of the traditional "Italian Baptismal Buttplug.")
What's weirder than the fact that Scott Jentzen's married? Oh yeah, the fact that he has two...yep TWO...kids. The lovely Abbey Rose was born on March 28, 2002.
