Visiting Dave Upstate and Snowstorm MisShapes

Somehow I got the dates on a set of my pics mixed up which resulted in me excluding my visit to David's from the January Roundups! So I've decided it's easier to just include them here. Forgive the anachronism!

Friday, January 14th

david f — On Friday afternoon, I took the train up north to Woodstock, NY to visit my good friend David F. (who I've known since I was 13 years old!). We ate a nice meal at some fancy Italian place...

cass — ...played with his dog, Cass and then spent the rest of the night watching The Office. (David Brent style, not Michael Scott style).

Saturday, January 15th

david f — On Saturday morning we woke up...

and then drove into some fun, quaint nearby village where we ate a huge ass breakfast for like $4 each.

david f — David warmed my heart and reminded me of the good old times when he requested a "side of mayo" with his breakfast.

Afterwards, we went to some supermall to check out some watches and see a movie, but it turned out we'd pretty much seen everything they were showing. So instead, we decided to hit the food court and EAT SOME MORE! East Wok, lemme hear ya!

david f — Nothing quite like a soft serve to cleanse the pallate after a generous heaping of the General. (That's Mr. Tso to you!).

Saturday, January 22nd

sarah — Fast forward a week - We had a crazy snowstorm and I spend most of the day over at Sarah's house watching movies. After more than six hours riding Sarah's couch, we finally rallied and decided to check out Misshapes.

sarah — Last minute decision = Sarah getting ready in the taxi.

karen, sarah — Because of the snow storm, the place was practically empty! (Which was a welcome change as the last few times we'd been there'd hardly been any room to dance!).

sarah — Champagne mini-bottle. Classy!
