On Friday afternoon, I took the train up north to Woodstock, NY to visit my good friend David F. (who I've known since I was 13 years old!). We ate a nice meal at some fancy Italian place...
After Meredith and I bid farewell to David Bacon, we saw a movie and then headed out to Williamsburg for Sunday Movie Night at Siege and Katie's! They invited a bunch of people over to watch the 80s classic: The Karate Kid. When Siege answered the door he informed us that it was...
On Sunday, Meredith and I met up with David ______ for brunch. (You're seeing that blank space there because after some of his co-workers Googled David's name and found pics of him on this site fingerblasting some girl on the dancefloor from a few years ago he's insisted I stop using his full name. Hahahahahah).
After dinner we picked up his dog Cass and then got some Tasty D-Lite. We sat on the bench on Houston shooting the shit and Cass laying on David's lap caused pretty much every single girl that passed by to stop and talk to us. Boys, take note.
Whathisface, Ramit and my hippy hair (which as you can see if finally getting long enough to start naturally feathering on the sides. Suh-weet. In a few more weeks I'll be able to start wearing those mint Jordache jeans that look so fucking dope with the brush in the back pocket).
And there was even a surprise visit from our good friend...shit, what's this guy's name again? I can't even remember. Seriously, if you read this David Forman, you're a dick. A big, not-returning-my-phone-calls dick. Last time this kid talked to me was to ask me to help him with his video Valentine's Day gift...which I spent like five hours on. Haven't heard a peep from him since. Dick, dick, dick. Holy Jesus Marymotherofgod,
what a dick. (I still love you, though. So for fuck's sake call
me if you see this, shitcock. Ok?)
So there's an ironing board resting on top of a 2 foot pile of snow and in the most obvious set-up ever (I mean, like one not even your slow, eight year old cousin would fall for), David goes to Grant, "Hey, I bet you can't surf on that ironing board." As soon as Grant stands on it, David pushes him into the snow.
Natalie, Vinay and David. (Sorry if these pics are boring - when we got to the party, there really weren't many people there so we busies ourselves by being stupid and taking lots of pics).
The only redeeming thing about New Year's Eve is that it also happens to be David Forman's birthday. Shane and I took the man himself out for a celebratory dinner at Blue Ribbon in Soho.
Do me a favor: take your cursor, move it over the pic up above, click the right-hand mouse button and view the photos' "Properties." Do you see what it says? Yeah, it says "001.jpg," which means that it's the first picture of the evening. We're at the party for less than two minutes and a girl walks up to David, points at her friend and says, "Hi, my friend thinks you're cute. Will you make out with her while I take your picture."
The next moring, Dave and Grant (aka - the bestest friends ever) came over to help me clean up. Check out Dave way in the background rocking out to Laura Branigan's "Gloria" while mopping.
Yeah, so those are pretty much the only good pics I have from the Mermaid Parade this year. I told you it wasn't nearly as good as last year's. Later that evening, a bunch of us headed out to Greenpoint to check out a loftparty in my old building. Dave and I represent on the Cripp tip...
My friend David's always complaining that considering the amount of time that we spend together, there are a disproportionate number of photos of him on my site. So here you go David, here's another pic of you...FISHLIPS!!!
David has bigger balls than anyone you know. Right after this pic was taken, he looked at the pic on the digicam, saw there was a cute girl who had just left them bar, so he goes running down the street to get her number.
