This photo makes me laugh out loud every time I see it. Soooo good. (Bonus points to Jessica for finger-pointing like a professional wrestler from the 80s. Yes!)
After the cocktail hour was finished, we headed inside into the main ballroom. Here's where they announced the wedding party. I only know the names of the bridal party side. Jess D!
The next sequence of photos does a fairly awesome job of summarizing what happens pretty much every time I attend a wedding. Oh yes, there will be dancing.
I ended up getting really drunk and leaving my camera in the kitchen (which is a rarity - because usually no matter how drunk I get, I manage to continually snap photos anyway). So these are the only two pics I have from the party! Jess getting ready to blow out her birthday candles!
Later that evening, I met up with Jessica (whom I used to date way back in college) and her mom Sue who was in town visiting from Vermont. After we finished dinner, I left to go meet up with...
Despite how easily you can see the ball by the light of my camera's flash, the game proved to be slightly more difficult with only torch light (which is probably what caused me to give up halfway through my game and head back to Manhattan).
Later that night (after a quick nappity-nap) I headed out to Park Slope to meet up with Jess D. at a party. Shorty after I arrived, it was decided that the entire party was going to head a few blocks over to Prospect Park for some nighttime croquet (to be played by tiki-torch light). Here's Jess getting ready to light the first torch.
Josh, Grant and myself with Jess and her "two friends." (Dennis Crowley said it best in a recent email: "this may be one of the best photos ever snapped with a digicam.")
...this guy! Hahaha! All these pics were taken at the Greenwich, CT Hilton and as the night wore on, all of the random people that were just there drinking and hanging out started mingling with us wedding folk.
Jess (my girlfriend at the time) was still living up in Syracuse and a bunch of us went up there to visit, celebrate Halloween and pretend we were still in college.
The Usual Suspects: left to right, Emily, Jess, Marion, Caitlin, and Kate. (who for the first time ever in a photo isn't making that "deer-caught-in-the-headlights" face.
Jess, Kate (doing her impression of "deer caught in headlights") and myself. And just for the record, Kate makes that face on purpose because she thinks it's cool or something.
The Obligatory Group Shot taken near the end of the party (circa 4am). Top row: That Kid That We Once Tricked into Drinking Douche, me, Caitlin, Vin "Hard As Balls" Ganapathy, Marion, and Scott. Bottom row: Jess and Eric P (aka "That Kid That Breakdances.")
At this point I should probably put a little disclaimer. WARINING:The following pictures contain some nudity. If nudity
offends you, here is chance to leave.
Left to right: Doug, Amy, Jess, Mandy (as Janice from the Muppets), Kate, Dan (as ghost), Monica (as stupid mask girl?), and Kristen in the corner as a Piece of Candy Corn.
I'm not sure exactly which weekend this was taken because bowling was one of our favorite things to do this summer. But not just any bowling, oh no, this was Rock 'n Bowl! Aw yeah boyeee.
These first few pictures are from the Fourth of July barbeque we had up at my house in Syracuse. A bunch of us all just hung out, ate good food and relaxed. From left to right: Amy looking like she has to poop, Evelyn, my girlfriend Jess, Mandy, and my Tom-Cruise-look-alikeroomate from last year, Chris.
Taken at Jess' old house during a dinner party. (we ate so much that we all needed a nap.) Left to right: Caesar, Rob, Kate, Me, Jess, Jen, Amy and Chris Handjobigan.
A drunken Jess tries to buddy up with Vin at the party. Vin wanted nothing to do with Jess at the time because he was mad at her. Apparently, earlier on in the day, Jess had embarrassed Vin in front of some girl he wanted to get down with by telling her that Vin still thought it was cool to snort Pixie Stix.
