Later that afternoon, I was hanging out with Maddy and Edie on the couch and accidentally captured this action shot of Maddy jumping up onto the couch! After Grant's face couldn't take anymore shaking, they moved on to documenting... ...Grant's aerial skills! (Kid's still got it!) AGAIN! THREE! I tried to do my best impression of Grant's toe-touching DLR kick and came-up short. ...mountain air? Why not enjoy some fresh... Jump kick for joy! Backflip! ...Two... Pretty nice little Monday. Haha. But this one's also pretty good. Haha. This one's my fave! Well, we're not exactly jumping in this photo, but I kind of like it. I put my camera on the window on auto timer and we tried to time a group jump shot. Attempt #1. FAIL. Falling out of the sky! Just givin er. ...we'd made it to the (almost totally empty) parking lot. We'd made such good time on the way down that we had plenty of time to set up my camera to try to catch shots of us jumping in the air using the auto-timer. Haha. ...and the second for the win! Wicker dancing suits! 210 BPM for 30 minutes and away you go! Hoverboard! ...jump as high as you can and try to grab hold of that fucking thing! ...but it was kind of a big deal at the time. Haha. Supporting Team Hart so hard. Haha. Sarah and Gurj lent vociferous support as Ellen ran long into the distance. Cleanliness with a kick. Dance while no one's watching. Sunset jump shots. Hahaha. Awesome. And the second! Haha. Attempt #1! Finally got it in shot # 3! Number 2 was a falling-from-the-sky success. Josh took this picture of me jumping in case I ever want to photo shop myself into all the "jump photos" I'm not in . And a jump shot! ...with a pre-breakfast swim! ...and so Gurj could do some freestyle jumps in the snack aisle. Haha. Haha. Matt jumped so high he was out of frame! DITH! Sand kicks. Bonus points for Jared's AIR JORDAN! All-star jump cast. Three photos in under 30 seconds! Haha. Jumping Jeet. Take 3 is pretty good. Haha. It's hard to get everyone up in the air at the same time with so many people! Late take offs! Group jump shot in the parking lot. Take 1. In between all the revelry of the knights, they had cool riding displays and horses jumping up in the air. Stationary tricks! Later that afternoon, we met up with Matt! On Sunday evening I went and saw a movie at Union Square with these three! Alexis and Geordon. ...Flying Homo. Aerial high five. It wasn't long before we started going on two at a time and seeing how we could bounce each other. Geordon & Leigh. Crouching Tiger.... Geordon's form was impressive. Snoopy. Scott. Our faces hurt from smiling. Which is what we did for the next THREE HOURS. Yes! My dad can jump in the air and click his heels twice...but can he do it in his new slippers? A couple minutes later, the rest of our group returned from a walk and decided to get in the mix. Going for 10! 5 out of 7! Getting there! 3 out of 7. 300% improvement! The larger your group is, the more difficult it is to capture everyone's feet in the air when you're taking a jumping photo. 1 out of 7 = FAIL! Take three! If you squint, it looks like they're spelling out S-H-I-T! Take two. Beach Jump! Take Four is my favorite! Everyone's doing their own thing. Take Three! Meredith got tangled up in her cape. Haha. Take Two. Total FAIL. But check out Gurj almost perfectly miming her exact pose and expression as the first take! ....obligatory photos of everyone jumping at the beach! Yay! Take One: Gurj, Scott and Amanda have amazing form in this pic. Sarah, however, failed to achieve lift off. Nicely done, sir! We took home the grand prize of 50 points for his team. (I did manage to get 2nd place, though. Soooo....25 POINTS !) Benjamin frolicked the NFL Merchandise oversized-kickball OF HIS DREAMS! After we'd finished climbing around on the rocks, I suggested a jumping photo! Right after I'd taken this one, a guy walking by on the beach saw what we were doing and offered to man the camera so that I could be in the shot to! I showed him my camera and explained how you have to time it to compensate for the slight shutter delay, and this is what he shot on his very first attempt! Well done, sir! See? Way to bring your karaoke A-game, lady! ...very excited for... ...WE WENT SWIMMING! Hahahaha. Check out the action shot of Mer jumping in for the first time. ...of everybody jumping in the air! Hahaha. Too bad the flash blacked-out the hotel in the background. (And I to censor Mer's hoohah!) On the way home, I made friends with drunk people on the sidewalk!
