Here are all the photos I took in June 2009 that didn't end up in their very own entry.

Monday, June 1st

leigh, meredith — Bad window smokers!

In honor of the first night of Conan hosting The Tonight Show...

...Edie did her impression of Triumph, The Insult Comic Dog! She even had a little piece of rawhide for a cigar. Spot on!

Saturday, June 6th

Saturday was gorgeous. I enjoyed the fountains...

...and flowers of Stuytown.

When the sun went down I got down with a Super Mario Galaxy marathon session. Loved this game. (Almost as much as I love eating personal pizzas!)

pauly — Pauly's friends' band, Quest for Fire, was in town playing a show in town and I went to meet up with them late night for post-show drinks at Elsa.

Elsa is the new bar that opened up in the old Hanger Bar space and it's pretty rad. (Miss you, Hanger Bar).

I really like what they did with the place. The interior is really nicely designed.

mike max — Mike Max is the band's drummer and he was going for it so hard. Drinking an entire beer THROUGH your own shirt that you've pulled up over your face on the dance floor is NEXT LEVEL SHIT.

mike max, pauly — How about if you sit down backwards (Dukes of Hazzard style) on a chair while your friend pours the rest down your throat for you?

mike max, pauly — Shirtless?

mike max — Bask in brief glory.

mike max, pauly — Collapse.

pauly — Pauly and a friend who was visiting from Toronto.

mike max — I love this photo so much. Mike was perching on the drink ledge and...

lisa — ...wooing the ladies across the room. Haha.

mike max — So casual.

mike max — Making other mens so jealous and shit.

mike max, pauly — Mike hit the dance floor sans shirt and Pauly, who is buff and therefore always only needs one other shirtless person in order to to take off his shirt, had his jim jam off and tied around his waist in like 5 seconds.

lisa — Haha.

mike max, pauly — Lisa's withering stare forced Pauly to suit back up moments later, but Mike stayed free.

lisa — Closing time. (If you looking in the background you can see Mike wringing out his beer-soaked shirt. Hahah).

Look who was waiting for me when I got home in the middle of the night. Awwww. A North American Silky-haired Bed-Weasel!

Sunday, June 7th

Stuytown goes a little overboard with the landscaping every year, but the flowers do look nice.

Stuytown has a huge squirrel population. If you look at the base of any tree, there's always a guy there looking at you.

They are shy...

...but curious.

Monday, June 8th

maddy — Maddy is just starting to get the hang of how to chew puppy kibble. She can sort of do it...

maddy — ...but not without making all sorts of accidentally ridiculous faces. Like this!

maddy — And this! Hahaha.

Leigh was coming back to our apartment after a couple weeks away traveling. Meredith took it upon herself to visit the party store and pick up a "WELCOME HOME BANNER" as well as a...

meredith — ...inflatable Hannah Montana balloon to make sure that Leigh felt welcomed back! Awwww.

leigh — WELCOME HOME, ROOMIE! In this picture Leigh is trying to prevent me from taking photos of her...

leigh — ...trying to use her mouth to suck the air out of one of those special ziplock bags that are designed to be vacuum-sealed by a machine....and you know, not a person's mouth.

leigh, meredith — Not working!

maddy — Maddy is turning into a stone-cold hunter. She wants to kill all birds, squirrels and rats. Check out them claws!

leigh — On our way down to take the dogs for a walk, Leigh fashioned a Minnie Mouse hair-bow out of poop-bags. A-dorable.

meredith — Jammie time.

Saturday, June 13th

On Saturday afternoon we were walking downtown and we passed a block party. The firemen had showed up just so the kids could check out the firetruck...

...but I loved how out of context it looked like there was some big jump castle disaster.

grant, meredith — Grant was in town! We met up and walked past my old place on the Bowery...

...down into Chinatown to get...

...VEGETARIAN DIM SUM! Yes!

meredith — So good.

On the walk back north...

...we spotted two cars that had somehow become totally demolished.

How does this happen?

catrinel, grant, maddy — Later that night Cat came over to hang!

Sunday, June 14th

maddy — Edie doing some chin-sniffing at the dog park.

All wiener dogs are always so excited to see other wiener dogs. They always run across the park to investigate.

maddy — Haha.

Monday, June 15th

maddy — This is how Maddy likes to lounge in my lap when I read.

Wednesday, June 17th

Meredith was ordering our wedding rings online, but before she could place the order, we needed to get my ring size. So after work we met up at Kmart and got my finger sized in the jewelry department. Fucking hippy.

Friday, June 19th

joann, meredith, mom — On Friday after work we went up to Meredith's parents house. My parents were there too...

chuck, dad — ...in order to celebrate Father's Day together. Our dads about to open their gifts.

chuck, dad — They both got...

chuck, joann — SLIPPERS! Hahah.

dad — Different designs for different...feet.

chuck — So soft!

dad — My dad can jump in the air and click his heels twice...but can he do it in his new slippers?

dad — Yes!

dad, maddy, mom — After dinner, my parents came downtown to our place so they could say hi to the dogs. Maddy is a face licker with a long reach so you have to be careful or she'll French you before you know what hit you.

dad, maddy, mom — Hahaha.

Monday, June 22nd

maddy — These two guys even nap together all the time. Such buds.

Friday, June 26th

Late on Friday we went to B-East

leigh — I love the lights there. They look like something out of BioShock.

leigh — Dinner!

Saturday, June 27th

leigh, maddy — Saturday night we stayed in and spend most of the night drying off Maddy's teeth and pulling up her lips so her teeth are bared.

maddy — She's grown so used to us constantly poking her and prodding her that she doesn't even wake up anymore. FIERCELY SLEEPING!

maddy — I'M GROWLING NOT SMILING, K?

maddy — I literally cannot look at this photo without laughing. Maddy's expression is RIDICULOUS!

Saturday, June 27th

me, meredith — Me and my boo.

Someone is a messy bear!

leigh — Leigh showing off the burn she got trying to flip over a huge frittata she was cooking for dinner. When she got burned, she tilted the pan and the whole frittata hit the kitchen floor and exploded. First words after she was finished tending to her burn? "NOWWHAT ARE WE GOING TO DO FOR DINNER?"

leigh, meredith — Such a bad one! (Leigh looks like SNL's Stefon in this photo. Haha).

Sunday, June 28th

maddy — Couch doogs.

leigh, meredith — Sunday afternoon errands.

Mer and I went to brunch at the reopened DY-NASTY restaurant and it's really really good. Grant, we should go there! Haha.

Check out this jim jam! Black bean quesadilla with fries and mini salad. So tasty!

me, meredith — Plus the waitress took this nice photo of us.

After lunch, we stopped in Rite Aid and I ran away to the treat section looking for good ice pops. Can't choose?

Why not get ALL THREE?

The whole reason I wanted ice pops so badly was because I found these guys in our freezer.

Look at the packaging! Don't these look like some kind of exotic Japanese frozen treat? I had the scissors out and was actually cutting into the plastic when Meredith happened to walk into the kitchen and inform me that I was about to eat a reusable frozen pack that you put on sore muscles. (Or frittata burns)

Let's enjoy a nap on a cloud after you've been POISONED TO DEATH.

leigh, lisa, maddy, meredith, pauly — Later that night Lisa and Pauly came over for family night.

lisa, pauly — They were coming from some other party and had these awesome creepy masks with them.

lisa, pauly — So disturbing. Hahaha. Pauly's peepers through the eye holes make me laugh. (Nervously)

leigh — Leigh has a different fancy dress almost every night.

Tuesday, June 30th

meredith — On Tuesday night, Meredith and I went crosstown...

fatty, marina, meredith — ...to have dinner at Fatty and Marina's new apartment in the West Village.

Homemade pizza was delicious.

fatty, marina, meredith — We went out onto their fire escape...

fatty, marina, meredith — ..and up on to their building's awesome roof deck.

Sick apartment across the street.

fatty, marina — Newlyweds.

fatty, marina — But they're still checking each other out. Yeah.

me, meredith — Their building's elevator was clearly designed for blue-eyed people.

maddy, meredith — My ladies, lounging. Happy June!
