Waking up! Hahaha. So good. Here we go! Snack party. There was a huge dining room table which we covered with drawing paper! (Probably a Meredith & Ellen joint effort?) ...it's really obvious... Party breather. Ellen handed me a really neat picture frame cut-out that her father made and asked me if I'd use it to take group photos! After the speeches Ellen made the rounds and did some table visiting. Later in the evening I went to La Palapa party room to celebrate Karen's birthday! Jeet, Peter & Mer Dessert! Eating time! ...then the mans (with honorable man-baby, Juliette). ...Quinn's birthday! Later that evening, I walked over to Hans & Ellen's in the East Village for a big holiday feast! Check out the table spread! Auto-timer class portrait before we all went our separate ways! Thanks for a lovely weekend, everyone! We wandered around the farm and communed with nature. I spent at least forty minutes sitting on the stone fence watching the tree branches swirl and "breathe." Back inside, Peter was hard at work... Ohhh! Shot! After a few turns of playing, we figured out how to improve the game by adding a penalty... Always a quick way to "improve" any group game! ...and carried it around like a baby. Haha. ...that's not shy about dancing at weddings. Oh, Table 7! ...over to the reception area... ...then biked over to La Palapa to meet up with this crew! Later that night, I had birthday drinks around the corner. Jared closed us out! ...and a whole roomful of people he knew yelled SURPRISE! Class portrait. Peter, Karen & Ellen. On Saturday morning Quinn & Sarah invited a bunch of people over to 3A... Homemade guac! Ready for some fireworks? ...and Quinn prepared an awesome healthy feast (she's an amazing health coach ) Carrying all our fourth of july party gear back to the house. Snack table. Post-midnight Cranium session = strictly for the hardcore. On the way up... How many of these photos could they possibly be selling? Ticket ride. After experiencing level 5, we wanted to check out the a nearby level 4 ride. Up next. Clearly in the grip of fear. Most of us do like 90% of our shopping in tiny, dingy bodegas so Target is so clean and huge and well-stocked it's overwhelming. Take 3 is pretty good. Haha. Post-brunch parting of ways. On Saturday a whole bunch of us met up... ...and got brunch at Kate's (where we used to go for brunch almost every weekend in 2003-04!).
