Last day of 2015! Spent the morning cleaning the kitchen and taking care of my plants. Took care of all of my plants before heading down to DC for Christmas! Got this excellent set of rainbow-colored Cuisinart knives. Mom making dinner! Up and at 'em for group breakfast at 10am! Took care of all my guys and watered 'em real good. Plant care Friday! Went down to Chinatown to say farewell to Grant... Later that evening, Grant and Fatty came by and we bundled up to head out for... Howard Brown, coming along nicely. On Tuesday morning, I got down to business! By nightfall, I got motivated and started getting the kitchen... ...and the kitchen and spent some time in Photoshop trying to simulate different paint-colors I was considering! Haha. Getting excited for eating time! On Thursday night Grant and Amanda came over... ...while dad got the bird carved up. Plants are doing great! Still like to let the dishes sit for a while before washing them. Seems a shame to wash away their uniqueness until its hard some time to be properly appreciated. Thanks for always inviting us all into your home and... On Sunday night I went over to Amanda's apartment and Chef Grant made us... On Friday night Catrinel and I went over to Ben & Sarah's apartment to cook dinner and meet their new baby Charlie for the first time! Thursday afternoon I spent time attending to my growing collection of plant friends! Back at the apartment we had a kitchen dance party... Yes! Kitchen party aftermath! Thanks for always being such SUPER HOSTS, Ellen & Hans! We appreciate you guys being the party pad all the time! ...and Siege even threatened to have some! Unfortunately, I didn't pass his "sniff" test. Grant cooked a Japanese dish for us... A little before midnight, I walked over to Matt's for a late night hang (and some hash browns?) I have no idea what he's cooking! I stuck around with Karen to clean up and pack away leftovers. Ta-da! Feasting time! While Hans got responsible and started working on dinner.... Back inside, Peter was hard at work... ...on an epic breakfast! ...working on dinner! Quinn was in the kitchen... On September 1st, I was down in south Jersey hanging out with my family. More plant care... On Monday I was finallly back in NYC after back to back trips, first out to Whistler, BC to go camping at Joffrey Lakes , and then out to the Poconos for Jared's Bachelor Weekend ! Ever wonder what those people you used to see out are doing on Saturday night? Saturday night juice club! Sunday morning carrot juice! Clean kitchen! Comparison is the death of happiness.
