On Saturday afternoon I met up with Meredith in Chinatown for veggie dim sum! When you drink from the little tea cups there, it makes you look like a little piggy!
Later Wednesday night I went to the appropriately-named Cafe Pick Me Up to meet up with my first OkCupid date since being single again. (And remembered just how difficult it is to convey exactly they type of weirdo I am in a personals ad)
The weather was calling for more rain so none of the diving boats were going out. If the weather wasn't going to improve, I decided it was time to leave the beach-town of Placenia and check out another part of Belize. I decided on San Ignacio, a town up in Belize's Cayo District, the country's mountainous rainforest region near the western border shared with Guatemala. I had a bunch of time before my 2pm bus, which I tried to fill with this delicious breakfast by the water's edge. Mmmm.
...and satiate everyone's caffeine cravings with a delicious new concoction he called "TEA-PUCCINO!" It was like the Grand-Slam of dad jokes. This picture rules.
