...BLAMO! Delivered! Since electronic scorekeeping came out, getting a turkey has been elevated to LEGENDARY STATUS mostly because people love the hokey "turkey animations" that the different bowling scoring systems throw up on the scoring display.
And then Grant decided to "cool down" with a giant, 2 lb, barbeque TURKEY LEG! Hahaha. (Gross! Who the fuck can eat turkey in 90+ degree heat? You're so lucky you didn't die of salmonella).
On Sunday Meredith and I took the train out to my Aunt and Uncle's house in Jersey to celebrate Easter with my fam. Here's Gram and my dad getting the bird ready. (Sure, I know what you're thinking...it's a steep transition to go from my balls next to some poor drunk girl's face right to Grandma carving up some delicious turkey to celebrate the resurrection of Christ, but that's just how I roll.)
Not wanting to spend Easter alone in NYC, I hopped on a train and headed 20 minutes away to Clark, NJ to have Easter dinner with my grandparents and my cousins, the Carricks. Here's my Uncle Wayne and Grandma working on the bird.
