(Here's a link to the very first one back in 2005 !) Excellent place for a party! Later that night, I met up with Vin and we went to a house party at John's loft. Talking politics, eating chips. I met his new ladyfriend Julia and John made us all tropical blender drinks. On Saturday night, I went back to another party at Ellen & Hans'! Turned the lights down low... Went to a dinner party at Ellen & Hans apartment later that evening! I was trying to make it down to Asheville, NC to meet up with Quinn and some friends before it got too late, so I packed up and said farewell around 5:30. Saturday night I went across the street to my neighbor Beau's moving party. Nice to be home! NYC garden party. ...directly to Brooklyn to a garden party celebrating Meredith & Dylan moving in together. ...who took me to an excellent birthday house party On Friday night, we went out to Williamsburg for a game night hosted at Dylan's apt. House party in full effect! Matt had movie-style werewolf prosthesis glued to his face... On Monday night I went to a TACO PARTY at Casa de Wang! I was reading a meditation book written by the HeartMath Institute and I have written down in my diary that I was practicing their technique on the subway ride to Brooklyn. The HeartMath Solution ) ...to celebrate his roommate Avi leaving for Liberia! After we'd finished gorging ourselves on twenty different dishes... ...to stop by Kai's 30th birthday party. I wandered around feeling a million years old and... On Friday night I went to a house party down in Chinatown. Good vibes backyard! Later that evening I met up with Vin and we went to an awesome outdoor BBQ party at Lauren Flax's new house in Bushwick. Had so much fun. After drunkenly crashing around in the woods, I came inside at 3am to find these guys crashed out on adjacent couches. We managed to get the entire gang together for a group photo before... Burger in the right. Pizza in the left. 100! Guest of honor! By the afternoon, we were ready to leave the house behind and explore the surroundings. Just enjoy the photos of chill bros caught habitating in their natural party-cabin habitat. We arrived to the house we'd rented around 6. On Sunday evening I met up with Vin and we went out to Bushwick to go to a house party BBQ at Lauren's house! On Friday night, I went over to Ellen & Han's apartment for a potluck dinner and a night of awesome hangs with all these lovely people that give me the feels so hard. ...Happy New Year! I'm a big fan of the tail end of a party when "physical challenges" are prone to break out. What started off with a simple flexed arm hang quickly escalated... Last of the late night partiers! We headed over to Dominiqa's awesome party and danced for a few hours. Things were still cooking well past 4am, but we were starting to fade. Dance floor was still going strong at 3am! Here's to ten years of Halloweens! Making friends. ...and went to an awesome house party that Hans knew about a few blocks from our place on Ave C. Is this real life? ...turns into... But it's only a matter of time before yelling through cardboard mouths... ...a puppet show could be performed! ...it's only a matter of time before someone (probably Andrew Borin?) understands that the mouths should be ripped out...
