After the show, I went back to Sarah's place and right after we got there, Gurj, who'd been away for weeks and weeks, got back. Look how excited these two are to be reunited!
And we finally got to meet Emilie's new boyfriend Alessandro! Beyond being one of the nicest guys I've ever met, he got extra bonus points for being a member of Nine Inch Nails.
Here's me giving Sarah a hug for inviting me to what was one of the best private shows I've ever seen (and probably marked the last time the Killers played a venue that holds less that 300 people).
On his way out, Ed was trying to be all smooth and kick it to Julie. Little did Ed know, while he was whispering sweet romantic nothings, Grant was behind him frantically motioning for me to get the camera out - because he'd gotten his balls out.
...that's right, y'all: FRANCES! Who could forget the septagenarian, chocolate, love-nugget that I French Kissed on my last birthday? (I'm so not kidding by the way, go on, click it. I dare you.) What's better than her cute lil' face pressed against my chest? She looks like one of the California Raisins! (Remember them?)
And hey, remember this guy? So he's sort of been sitting on the side watching our dance party and when Amber asked him if he wanted to dance he said "How about we all smoke a jay instead?" And busted out this big, brown, gorilla finger of a joint.
On Monday evening I met up with Liz and Frank for some East 6th Street Indian food action. Frank's not in any of the pictures because I was too busy taking pictures of our waiter falling in love with Liz. He kept bringing more and more random shit out to our table just so he'd have an excuse to flirt (/molest) Liz. (Check him out trying to use his lil' moustache to tickle her ear. Smoooooove.)
As well as the "Hey, it was nice to meet you too" hug. If there was audio, this is where I'd have a clip of the "I did mention I have my own TV show coming out, right?" conversation. Hehehe.
On the way out Counter gave Fatty a goodbye hug and assured him he'd keep watch over his Jdate harem. We met these two as we were leaving. They were in town from England and when they heard that we were getting ready to take a trip there, they became our new best friends. The guy in the scarf was so drunk that we're actually holding him up in this pic.
Here he is with Jenny Kijowski leaving the office with a box of stuff cleared off of his desk. (Partial list of said box: Tongue Joy, tongue mounted vibrator and attachments; Viagra sample pack; Penis extender weight kit with instructional video; Family pictures; CB2000 male chastity harness; AC/DC figurine and “ The Accommodator” chin-mounted dildo.)
So somewhere around this time, I started spitting on my friends. Well, more like spitting on my hand and throwing it at them. I don't know, it seemed funny at the time. Needless to say, people weren't happy with me. After realizing that I'd been an asshole, I apologized and Seth opened his arms for a hug. Little did I know, it was a set up: while I was hugging Seth, Grant snuck up behind me and poured his beer down my shirt (while Fatty, privy to the plan, waited in the wings with the camera. Bastards).
On Friday night I went over the Blu on Avenue C to wish farewell to
Em & Lo who were leaving the next morning for their eight week, cross-country
tour to promote their
book that had just come out.
Here's my little brother Brett providing further evidence to support the recent scientific discovery that being the "motherfucking Mack Daddy" is likely genetically predisposed.
