Lots of wispy clouds over the East Village on Tuesday. Headed out in the hood... ...white, opaque clouds in the the course of just a few minutes. East River Park. Noticed more of those wispy cirrus clouds that very quickly turn into... Less than ten minutes later and the sky had turned a flat hazy white as they diffused. Clear sunny day with blue skies. Three planes flew back and forth and left lots of contrails. Walked over to the West Village... Hey! Car butts! Walked cross town to visit... After a trip to the vet... ...and headed to the airport. ...and watched the blue skies turn... ...turn hazy-white in a matter of a few minutes. Rainbow around the sun. Gridlines! Hit the road around 9:30am an after an hour of driving, made it to nicer weather. Probably just water vapor, though. Very strange. It's not like our government wouldn't tell what's happening! Love me some dramatic sun rays. Oh yeah, that's the stuff. Lots of hub-bub in the hood bright and early on Monday morning! Oh, sun sets over here and everything? Swirly clouds... From blue skies to sun-dampening milky-haze in less than 3 minutes! 3:20:58 pm 3:20:24 pm I don't know much about the weather, but it's cool to notice the tipping point (in humidity? temperature?) where the sky will turn from almost clear blue to hazy white in just a few minutes.
